I just moved to the area two months ago. Every pastry shop and bakery I been to has been extremely disappointing. I purchased an apple pie and apple blueberry pie her. 10/10 delicious fresh and amazing! And even though my interaction was short, staff was extremely kind and you can tell their heart is in the service and food. Will be here frequently (on cheat days lol)!
I made the short trek to Montclair with a friend to taste these delicious-looking pies. The shop itself is really tiny; you might be able to fit about 12 people shoulder to shoulder standing inside between the pie case/cashier station and the handful of shelves displaying British pantry supplies, snacks ("crisps" aka potato chips), and sweets like Cadbury's, Jelly Babies etc. There's no tables, so don't plan on eating in here. Lovely shop, variety of pies including meat pies. I had the small key lime pie. I wish I had gotten the medium. It was so fresh and tart. The Graham cracker crust was fresh, and the lime was so good. Also had the chocolate chip scone warmed it up. It was really good.
