“While being in the area, decided to stop there for lunch. Local food was good, they had a very decent beer. The view on the lake was extraordinary and in some sense, quite soothing. Prices were decent and service up to par. I'll make sure to stop there if I am ever in the area again.“

“First time coming here for dinner with the family to celebrate my birthday on St. Patrick’s day! Food was excellent. My fiancé is born and raised British and she absolutely loved the bangers and mash! The chicken schnitzel was delicious! Atmosphere inside was fun and relaxing. Bag pipe player walking around. Manager came over twice and checked on us! Thank you for a great meal!“

“Stopped here after church and was pleasantly surprised. The owner greeted us and sat us immediately. You can genuinely see his care and pride in the restaurant. The service was outstanding. Our daughter was the only child there but they all fussed over her. We really appreciated that. They also made menu modifications for her with no issues. We all loved our food. Portions were plenty and we all brought home some leftovers. Oh and get the beets if you are a beet person. They were fantastic!“

“Went for our 16th anniversary and did not disappoint. Service in bar was top notch. Our server for dinner, Devin went over menu, specials and drink specials along with making several personal recommendations. Every recommendation he made was spot on. From the limited time Valentine’s Day drinks to the appetizer to the main courses. He was very knowledgeable about the menu in general and took the time to answer any and all questions. I had the New York strip steak with foie gras add on. Wife had Scottish salmon. We went with the delmonico potatoes and Brussels sprouts for sides. Simple yet sooooooooooooo good. I’d go back again just for the sides. THEY WERE THAT GOOD! My steak was perfect (possibly best I’ve ever had) and my wife loved her salmon. We will for sure be back again. Thank you for a great evening.“

“Neighborhood pop (and mama) bar/restaurant where I believe the owner is the chef and he makes some delicious and unique food that is consistently awesome. Best cuban sandwich i've had in the area. "Shweddy Balls" are a must try (think of a meatball but made from mashed seasoned eggplant with cheese and deep fried like a falafel).“
“I've heard the term "out of body experience" before but could never truly say I've had one until I sank my teeth into a cheboygah (cheese burger for the layman's) at Village Saloon. Paired with fresh cut fries (fresh cuts for the hip) this cheboygah will change everything you ever thought was possible in culinary art. Their chilli is a meaty dense dark texture that warms the coldest souls from the darkest corners of the earth. My wife ventured into the land of poultry there by ordering a fried chicken special. All she lent me was half a wing in fear that she would run out of chicken too fast. Our server, I never got her name as she was also bartending / changing the lives of men and women who were experiencing the saloon, was nothing short of a messenger of God. Bringing food and drinks promptly and kindly and ensuring we did not faint out of pure bliss during our dining experience. All humans must enter this establishment and order a cheboygah. This is the only way to have the best in the universe. It will ruin all other boygahs for you at every place you ever get one. The fact that it comes with fresh cuts fried to superior excellence elevates your situation beyond your wildest dreams. Life begins anew when you leave here. There is nothing else but days of longing for the next time you get to go to Village Saloon.Kid-friendliness: Highchairs“

“On vacation nearby & visited the Beacon on several occasions over last few weeks for drinks & food. Delicious, particularly recommend crab dip, seafood flatbread & burgers.Really enjoyed the live music and trivia night! Can’t wait to visit during the warmer months and spend time on the deck.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free catered for.“
“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“

“Food was great! Just disappointed that with an entree no salad or bread/rolls available. They were all separate. We have been going here since they opened and we always got them with meals. Take out next time so I can have bread and salad with my dinner!“

“Brian is a gem, great service and Drinks. Some of the other should take tips from him, not as good but overall service and food is very good. There should be uniformity in cooking, for example the pastrami sloppy joe has been in 2 pcs ,grilled and other times it's 3 pcs toasted, other times it's not grilled or tosted and served sandwich style, 2 pcs. White bread!! Great food and drinks overall, no matter how it's served. Try them and you'll become a regular patron!!Parking: Parking is very good whole parking lotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, try em you'll see for yourself!!Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible by wheelchair, from parking to restaurant, whether diner or tavern.“

“@BigDudesBigFoods was invited up to @Pats.Barin #MountArlingtonNJ today. We were told it was a dive bar with a more upscale menu and that's exactly what we found. We started with the "Crispy Chicken Teriyaki" over #JasmineRice with #RoastedPeppers Next, we had a grilled chicken sandwich on Ciabatta with Arugula, Roasted Peppers and #FreshMootz Our 3rd course was #PatsWingshalf Buffalo and half Bourbon and we ended our culinary adventure with a #JumboPretzel because jumbo is are thing. If it says jumbo, giant, colossal or anything of that nature on the menu, we are probably going to order it. #PatsBar was clean, decorated for halloween and surprisingly had customers at 3pm when arrived after work. The food was delicious and the staff was fun and friendly and made you want to stay longer but you can only eat so much. . #BigDudesBigFoods #SupportSmallBusiness #CelebrateEveryDay #globaleats #shenanigans #BDBFCertified #ThePhoneEatsFirst #Forkyeahfoodies #BDBF @forkyeahfoodies #YouDontKnowJersey #TeaseTheDay #ClearEyesFullBelliesCantLose #ABigDudesGottaDoWhatABigDudesGottaDo #HaveYouHuggedABigDudeToday“
