“@BigDudesBigFoods was invited up to @Pats.Barin #MountArlingtonNJ today. We were told it was a dive bar with a more upscale menu and that's exactly what we found. We started with the "Crispy Chicken Teriyaki" over #JasmineRice with #RoastedPeppers Next, we had a grilled chicken sandwich on Ciabatta with Arugula, Roasted Peppers and #FreshMootz Our 3rd course was #PatsWingshalf Buffalo and half Bourbon and we ended our culinary adventure with a #JumboPretzel because jumbo is are thing. If it says jumbo, giant, colossal or anything of that nature on the menu, we are probably going to order it. #PatsBar was clean, decorated for halloween and surprisingly had customers at 3pm when arrived after work. “Food was great. Hot fresh and served quickly. Open floor plan and there were 2 large parties going on so for a quiet evening out this wouldn’t be your place. But for good food and great service it’s a great place. Remember cash only !Parking: Large parking lot but seams to be more than enough for their seating capacity.“

“We stopped in on St. Pats weekend and where plesently surprised. We got immediate seating at the bar and had amazing food. We came because the spot was recommended for their tap list, and boy, did they not disappoint. Spectacular selection of premium beers and a great variety too; not just the usual whale NEIPAs. My only complaint is that this spot is too far away from me to be a regular haunt. If you're around the area, definitely give Taphouse 15 a try.Parking: Lot is a bit tight, and the restaurant is situated in the middle of a divided highway, so it felt a bit strange when we pulled in from the left.“

“It was a Thursday evening and we sat in the bar. We ordered off of the Chefs Tasting menu. We both ordered a salad and had the salmon entree which was deliciously perfect. Then we got to order a dessert because all the were included in the 29.99 price! It was excellent. We also had wine with our dinner.“

“Stopped here after church and was pleasantly surprised. The owner greeted us and sat us immediately. You can genuinely see his care and pride in the restaurant. The service was outstanding. Our daughter was the only child there but they all fussed over her. We really appreciated that. They also made menu modifications for her with no issues. We all loved our food. The atmosphere was relaxing and the live musician was the perfect background. I've had apps, entrees and their thin crust pizza and would recommend every dish on the menu. “Wow. The Black River Barn has outdone themselves again. What I remember growing up is an older pub feel with ok food, that has changed. It's now the most reasonably priced, delicious, kid and adult friendly food in a good part of Northern NJ. The atmosphere is palpable and full of life. Everyone loves their service, food, and drinks along with the prices. Can't say enough good about a restaurant I once wrote off as an older crowd. If you haven't visited in a while, give it another chance and they WILL impress you.“

Despite the bar being busy, Ivy was attentive, friendly, and seemed to be generally interested in engaging with patrons. She interacted with everyone at the bar and made sure that they had everything they needed. As someone who worked in service for years, you experience all types of personalities good and bad. It’s refreshing to see someone behind the bar who enjoys what they do. I would come back just for the positive atmosphere that the Daily Planet has while Ivy is bartending!“

Karissa worked tirelessly with me to ensure that the entire planning process was seamless and that our event would be perfect! Perfect is an understatement!!! Its a small bar but as soon as i wakked in and had to get a drink, the bartender made it feel like ive going there for a long time. They do have a bar menu and its a mix of typical bar food/snacks and stuff you wont see at a bar too much. They offer pizza, hot oven pretzels, wings, tenders, fried raviolis, hot dogs, burgers, cheese steaks, buffalo tots (I was sucking on ice for an hour but it was good). So you guessed it, i enjoyed it.“

“Tuesday is karaoke night. The bar is happening but not busy, the music is on but not unmanageable, and the drinks are good. I really enjoyed my time, and the drinks, and the service. I'll only knock the fact that the menu doesn't display prices and the "not IPA craft selection" is pretty bad. I live in Florida and have had many grouper meals, the potato crusted grouper here is ?! The best I ever had. My wife had a chicken dish with pasta that was the bomb. My buddy had the pork chop that was tender and tasty. If you’re looking for a quite atmosphere with great cocktails and fantastic food, you need to make plans to drive to Hibernia Inn ( approximately 3 miles off the Hibernia/Rockaway exit off of Rt 80). This is family owned for many years and they keep bringing a excellent dinning experience. Wish they were in my home town in Florida ?“

“Most of us ordered the Sirloin Steak. It came out on a hot plate with rice and potatoes on another plate. The steak was quite large and was very juicy. Chimichurry sauce was also very good. The steak cut wasn't the best, but that's the nature of Sirloin. Overall, I enjoyed it. I would probably serve chimichurry sauce in a different type of container (instead of a plastic cup)“

“Adam’s Beer Garden is a secret gem! I’ve driven passed this a thousand times. There is more then enough room to watch all the games. Spread out at this bar there is a bunch of things to do. Play pool, play the lottery, I believe they have a dart board! Go outside where there is even more endless space and challenge someone to foos ball. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from. The cigars are reasonably priced. Lots of beer on tap. We ordered a pitcher you should too! Cash only! Don’t think they sell food.Parking: I parked along the railroad tracks.“

“We went in June and were very disappointed, I reached out to the owner to let them know my complaints. They asked us to try them again. Last week we went back and I’m happy to say I had such a great time & meal! The owner revamped everything and it shows! We look forward to going back. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, and 2 different burgers. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the mozz sticks were so good!“

“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“

“Lots of pizza places to choose from in Long Valley, but this is our go-to. Love their pizza! And staff so friendly. For the 3rd year in a row, they let the middle school play have their cast party there. The kids run around on the grass and pizza and drink soda. Pizza has long been consumed, but they let us stay and celebrate and eat cake long after they have closed. Very supportive of kids and the community. I'm happy to recommend them!“

“As a young girl in 4th grade, my mother enrolled my sister and I into Deutsche schule every Sat from 10-12. Yuk! But we learned German and Germania Park has become a part of my life as my mother and step father were active members. I haven't been in years, but we went yesterday to enjoy excellent German food, Weiss bier, ompa band music and cup pyramids being built! Good ole fun ...“

“Me and my wife decided to have lunch at Mr Crabby's and we were not disappointed. From a 1 to 10 I would rate our experience a 12! From the waiter, Brian to the delicious food, we had the Lobster Reuben and the Mahi Mahi Tacos, we were amazed and well pleased. The owner, Colleen came to our table and greeted us like we were a part of their family. We had such a great time and we plan to return very soon. Mr Crabby's is a special place that I would definitely recommend to all our friends and family.“
