“The food was delectably delicious, the prime cut the best I've ever tasted, the crab cake one of the best. The cheese cake was light as it should be. Be aware, there is no handicapped access, no way of getting past those steep stairs in front; getting up and down was painful to me using a walker; it would have been impossible for someone in a wheelchair. Yes, the 1901 building is historically protected, but there should be a way of building an inoffensive ramp.“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly. Next time I need to try the pastelitos (empanadas).“

The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. The Mexi-Avo toast was so filling and the flavors melted together so nicely. Don’t forget the decor inside is so cozy, boho/havana vibe and perfect for a date or girl’s brunch. 10/10“

“Me and my family were pleasantly surprised by the food at Snack Mania! We were in town visiting and decided to look up places to eat after a long day and so glad we took a chance on Snack Mania. The smoothies were AMAZING! I got a pineapple mint smoothie and it was heavenly! My sons enjoyed their burgers and fries and my husband enjoyed his chicken sandwhich. “This place is an absolute hidden gem. The front door is literally located between 2 service bay doors at Sansone Toyota. Don't let the hard to find and unusual location sway you, the journey of discovery is just part of the fun. Once through the door, you take the stairs up to a beautifully maintained cafe oasis. We were going for breakfast and left sad that we had no room left to stay all day and enjoy the lunch buffet. They have a beautiful open kitchen concept where you can see all the fresh food being prepared. The breakfast was excellent with wonderful fresh ingredients and satisfying portion sizes. Don't miss the pupusas, a house specialty. The owner, Rosa, is as sweet as can be and runs the restaurant with various family members. We were staying at the nearby Fairfield Inn due to a flight cancellation at Newark Airport and made the walk over. Not the easiest walk due to a lack of sidewalks in the area, but there is a crosswalk to get across the busy highway. We were able to successfully use our airline food vouchers (come as virtual visa cash cards), so we were pleased with that as well. Rosa's should not be missed if you are in the area!“

I like to stop by for a latte and a baked good (scone, cookie, or blueberry bar) and sit outside at one of the side tables. Pre-Covid, they hosted open mic night and quiz night every month. Now Steve hosts a monthly Zoom Quiz Night and it is so much fun! A great locally owned cafe.“
