We made a reservation for 5:00 today, Father’s Day. Arrived about ten minutes early. Empty seating. Once I said we had a reservation they said sit anywhere. The place started to fill up. As we waited to be greeted we all (4 of us)selected our drink and meal so we would get served faster with the influx of seated tables. An hour later my husband was at the counter asking for our food. I live in South Jersey. However, I travel a lot to Texas for my job. I have been to some of the best BBQ joints known to man. I know that nothing in NJ will compare to my experiences in Texas. With that being said, I really was hoping that 322 BBQ would be different. My wife, Daughter and I are stopped in for dinner tonight. I was a little shocked when I seen the pricing on the menu. I was hoping the bbq would stand up to the price. I was dissatisfied when the meal came and I seen the portions of the big momma sampler. Brisket was dry, ribs were chewy, pulled pork was not flavorful, corn bread was dry. Came with 2 donuts which tasted stale. I felt for the price of $98 that the food should have been top notch. I wouldn’t try this place again because of the price and portion. Server was nice though.
