“An amazing experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and not terribly expensive (I've gotten prime rib for 14 bucks, add sides for a few dollars more). The atmosphere is wonderful for first responders and military alike. Recommended.“
“This is a delicious Caribbean restaurant. I got the fried fish sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The sides were my favorite and everything we ate was perfectly and subtlety flavored. The collard greens were among the best I ever ate anywhere in my life, the sweet yams as well. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. My husband ordered gulf shrimp which was perfectly cooked and seasoned to order. The service is warm, kind, and hospitable.. We ate outside as it was a beautiful, sunny Saturday. My husband another time ordered the shrimp and grits which he felt was very good. The chefs and owners opened this lovely restaurant and labor of love during the pandemic and so grateful that they kept it going! I definitely highly recommend all of the dishes we ate!! It was superbly prepared food!“

“What a great find. Friendly service, cute place with large tables that can accommodate a big group and great food. They prepared something special for my vegan diet which was a carribean inspired lentil dish over rice with a little heat and delicious plantains and my husband had the Cuban jibarito and deep fried corn. All the plants are so beautiful! Check this place out.Vegetarian options: They were more than happy to modify a dish to be vegan so I imagine it would be just as easy for vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Large space, fun atmosphere.“

“I highly recommend the salmon bowl with jasmine rice. I discovered this place on tik tok and had to try it. The portion was amazing and super filling. I ended up adding shrimp last minute but I honestly think this place is a hidden gem. The only thing that was a little odd, (this is totally subjective), was it being in the same space as a gym. I personally didn’t like this concept, however, that doesn’t discredit how great this place is. I will definitely return if I am in Jersey.Oh, the sweet chili sauce, the texture of the salmon, and the seasoning used on the shrimp was chefs kiss! ? you’re welcome.Parking: Finding this place was a little wonky; referring to the entrance. I did call and ask for help and the worker didn’t really “help” but we figured it out.There was an arrow that led us to the back, the door we parked in front of didn’t open. We ended up walking all the way around to see it was located inside of a huge building of multiple businesses.“
“We went there on an early Sunday evening and decided to eat in. The atmosphere was ok, we were able to sit where we wanted and were attended to right away. The young man who waited on us was very friendly and nice. He explained everything to us since it was our 1st visit. We both chose to get the 1/2 rack of ribs but I got the brussels sprouts and the french fries. My guy got the parmesan potatoes and jasmine rice. I really enjoyed the ribs, I could taste the layers of flavor and I totally loved those brussels sprouts! So flavorful and hearty. I have never had brussels sprouts taste so good before. And even the french fries were delicious! They stayed hot, were seasoned very well and were so crispy. So much so that I shared them with my guy and he enjoyed them too. I guess my main take away is that there is a lot of flavor in the food, which is a total win for me. The bbq is a dry rub but they give you sauce to go with it if you want it. I did put some sauce on it but honestly, it really wasn't needed. I found everything to be nice and flavorful. If you like food with flavor then you won't be disappointed.“
