“I've been wanting to try Tanglewood for months. We finally had time to go today and we loved it! The owner was kind and patient while we pursued the menu and asked questions. My partner and I finally decided on sharing a Combo (¼ pulled pork & ¼ brisket, 1 small side-we chose coleslaw, and cornbread), an appetizer of their Asian Sticky Ribs, and a side of their homemade chips. The stars of the meal were definitely the Asian Sticky Ribs. Their cruchy edges and tender meat glazed with that Hosin BBQ sauce will definitely bring us back definitely. 100% get these.Coming in a close 2nd was the brisket. It was so moist and tender. The meat alone was amazing, and we dipped it into the Blue Q (Blueberry Bourbon BBQ sauce), and it went a level beyond.3rd would be the pulled pork. Sometimes, the texture of pulled pork feels like the pork is disintegrating - that was NOT the case here. We were treated to bunches of well smoked pork that was complimented by their Gold n Gritty mustard sauce. The next would be the remulade and other toppings on top of the corn. The flavor there was sooo good. I know we're out of corn season, but I hope fresh corn is used in season because that sauce deserves a nice crisp corn to eat with it. We ate the rest of the sauce with the chips... speaking of...The chips were AMAZING! The perfect crunch, the seasoning was spot on and addictive! The *very* few misses:This may be just a personal preference: the cornbread was soooo good; sweet, with a cake like crumb, but I really needed it to be warmed or at least room temperature. I took it home and heated it up in a pan with some butter, and it was perfection. The slaw and pickles both had good flavor. However, the texture was a Miss. The cabbage in the slaw and the cucumber from the pickle were both soft and had no crunch left them. As these were all sides, I didn't feel like they should affect the 5 stars this place clearly deserves. We can't wait to come back and try the Chipotle Mac & Cheese hot dog and the loaded potato salad! The value was excellent too; great food for an appropriate price.“
“I had a good visit to Momoyama. Been craving some ramen and have been hearing a lot about this place so figured I'd check it out. It's a newer restaurant so it's nice and clean...has that "new" feel. The waitress was friendly and explained some things we had questions about. We ordered the Spicy Curry Ramen with boiled chicken and Chicken Katsu on the side and the Mini Combo with BBQ Chicken. The Chicken Katsu was lightly breaded and fried. I liked that it didn't taste greasy and wasn't fried too hard. The Spicy Chicken Ramen was tasty and the portion size is really big. The BBQ chicken was my favorite. It had a nice char, grill flavor and the chicken was juicy. I'd definitely get the full portion the next time I visit.“
“I decided to order dinner from this decent restaurant for the first time on 3/8/24. When I say it was finger licking good; there is no lie in that. I ordered through DoorDash and my driver was quick with delivery service. When I received my food everything was as described from the menu. Everything was also a first try except the Naan, which is one of my favorites when it comes to Indian cuisine. The Quail was exquisite especially paired with the Turmeric spices; that's one dish I will be ordering again. Lastly the "tasty" Pakoras. I didn't know a dish like this existed until ordering from Indian Char House. Another favorite of mine. If you are looking for a decent dine in, be sure to give Indian Char House a try!“
“I ordered the Beef Birria Tacos. First time was good I ordered on a Saturday night. My second time I went around 4pm not as good the consommé had a strong tomato paste flavor to me and they added too many onions to the top. Overall the food was good. Best to call ahead there really isn’t a waiting area inside. I would recommend them and continue to support this small local business.“
“Like the pocha theme, Korean street vendor. You can experience authentic popular dishes plus trending alcohol.Meaning no BYOB.They also offer bbq, which I tried pork belly, it has gotten nice thickness and fresh. You grill at the table. I've requested green lettuce and extra garlic and pepper, decent amount to enjoy the meat together.I chose their pork neck bone soup which was spicy enough to kick my taste bud, perfect paring with Soju. They bring out a portable warmer, so it keeps warm and hot.Their pork katsu is typical Korean style, the sauce is brown yet has enough seasoning, I tasted a bit of ketchup too!Sweet and sour pork was an appetizer for me, sauce poured out, moist and crispy still.Parking: The restaurant's 4 sides are their parking lot. Back side is residential.“
“I don't write many reviews and I honestly just finished eating, but this food was out of this world. I ordered the shrimp po boy and the beef empanada, and oh my God that was some of the best food that I have ever door dashed. Do yourself a favor and eat at this place. Also, I don't know if they make their lemonade in house but it is delicious.“
“I recently had the opportunity to try Sid's BBQ, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The brisket with KC BBQ sauce was a standout dish that left me craving more. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend giving Sid's BBQ a try for a flavorful and satisfying meal that will surely leave you coming back for more.“
“What a great find. Friendly service, cute place with large tables that can accommodate a big group and great food. They prepared something special for my vegan diet which was a carribean inspired lentil dish over rice with a little heat and delicious plantains and my husband had the Cuban jibarito and deep fried corn. All the plants are so beautiful! Check this place out.Vegetarian options: They were more than happy to modify a dish to be vegan so I imagine it would be just as easy for vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Large space, fun atmosphere.“
“We’ve been to this location a number of times and it’s always really consistent. Favs are their pulled pork, Mac & cheese and cornbread but they have some new menu items we need to go back to try!Our most recent visit, the vibe was super family friendly and staff was so incredibly kind and considerate about food allergies. Will always continue to support!“
“Amazing all the way around. Great service, amazing food, and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted. As you walk in, it can be a little disorienting with so much going on but as you begin to take it in you see how important the local hero’s are. These guys care about the men and women who serve our country. The staff greeted me warmly and when they discovered it was my first time they spent time walking me through the whole menu and explaining the style of food. A gentleman gave me a coupon for a free sandwich as a gift for my first time.I ordered the pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Amazing. Man did it hit! They have lemonade and sweet tea, but I mixed it half and half and my gosh. The food was literally some of the best I had. I used the mission belle and smokehouse sauce. They offer 6 hot sauces on the table. Lisa was cleaning and serving the table, she helped me so much, was very attentive, and cleaned up the table for us. I was taken back.Lisa then offered me a free dessert as a first time visitor. I’ll truly never forget the service and food and can’t wait to bring my family back.I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I had the best time and it was money well spent. The staff is responsive and well trained and so welcoming. You won’t have a bad time here I promise!Shoutout to Lisa, and the Spanish gentleman (was it Justin?) for truly making my first time special.“
“What a find! You can blink and miss this unassuming spot stuck between a UPS store and the dry cleaners. Glad we stopped by. The food was fantastic with great quality meats. The Smoked Baked beans were the best I have ever had, not overly sweet and bang full of flavor. The brisket was just melt in you mouth awesomeness ? I'm coming back for the burnt ends. They have seating and aren't just a take out place. Friendly folks to top it all. It is noteworthy that Adam Sandler and Mike Cera have stopped by at some point.“
“Think of the best bbq you have ever had…whatever place you are thinking of, Sophie’s BBQ beats that by a mile and then some.I’ve traveled all over the world and thought I tasted good bbq before. Sophie’s BBQ brings a unique flavor that easily beats Texas, Kansas City, and Carolina BBQ. I can honestly say that whatever food you order from the menu will taste so good that you don’t need to add sauce to make it better. The sauces you are provided complement the already delicious food. From the sides to the main platter, I will guarantee that you will enjoy every bite that explodes your tastebuds.Go there hungry so you can have space in your stomach. The portions are massive but they don’t cheapen the food. If anything, one bite makes it obvious that every part of the dish you are being served is made with love and pride. The staff are so welcoming and the new renovation has made it even more family friendly without overwhelming your senses. The cocktails are so well made that you could easily drink the entirety of your drink in mere minutes. Smooth is an understatement. The unique twists and variations on drinks and food will definitely leave you hungry for more even when your stomach is full because of how savory everything is.10/10 would eat here again and again without question“
“The closest I can get to Korea in Philly!!! After living in KR for a year, I am always on the hunt for real Korean food that hits like back home and this is it. We got the stir fried pork and kimchi (김치제육볶음) and the hot stone bibimbap (돌솥비빔밥) and they were incredible. The kimchi and pork were so tender and flavorful. The owner is so sweet, she served us, chatted with us in Korean, and gave us extra hot sauce for the bibimbap!! Of all the Korean places I’ve been to in the US, this may be my number one. Cannot wait to come back!“
“This place deserves soo much more recognition. Everything was great There beef and pork ribs was EVERYTHING, And they're not stingy my husband and I had enough to enjoy the next day. We will be going back again. Wait I almost forgot to mention the YUMMY sweet potatoes YEZZZA Y'ALL NAILED IT!!!!“
“I love Wilson's because they are one of very few places in the suburbs who make an Impossible cheesesteak. It's always packed so I'm sure the real ones must be good as well. The apps and sides are also very good - clearly homemade.Vegetarian options: I go out of my way for their vegetarian options.“
“I enjoyed the pulled pork meal recently. The food is delicious. The size is huge. The owners are delightful and have created a space of beauty in the Delaware River Front area. If you try their fine food I am confident that you will love it and keep coming back.“
“The food here is absolutely delicious and I been dealing with these people for years over at the old small location it's FOOD CRACK!!!... but I wish they would bring back the deep fried cheese cake??..absolutely my favorite and I absolutely miss it please bring it back!!!“
