The establishment is approaching 100 years old-it opened in 1933-and to this day is consistently busy. This fact alone makes it one of the more successful bars in the United States. As you might expect, the service is very good, the bartenders are engaging and professional and the alcohol is the right temperature i.e. the beer is cold and the hard liquor is good!
