The Comedy Diner Formerly Annabella's Kitchen

The guys working here are polite and customer focused. However the food is not up to par. Ordered their personal size pizza...the pizza base was soggy and just lacked value for its money. This review is not about the comedy show as I have not experienced it.

The show was absolutely phenomenal. The Sunday Brunch comedy special is an amazing experience where you have an intimate setting, good food and a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a great time, it's a must that you go and thoroughly enjoy yourself.

Wonderful comedy brunch. The quality of food, setvice, selection and portions were excellent. Very intimate comedy club. We'll be back.

Vegetarian options: Each of us have dietary restrictions and all of our were prepared to our requirements.

It was all fine. I went on a Wednesday at noon so me and the person I was with was the were the only noise. The food was as expected for a diner in New Jersey (good in general). Our waiter was eager to help. Id go again

Owner and staff were very welcoming and it genuinely felt like they wanted us to leave satisfied and content. I indeed did, and when I finished my meal and left I continued the day in a very positive moodLike many diner places, there was no shortage of food options. Don’t expect anything to “knock your socks off,” but I did clean my meal feeling great and like everything hit the spotCouldn’t ask for a better start to the day

No longer Annabellas Kichen, this spot was taken over by new management recently and the new name is COMEDY DINER. Been to this spot many times, former owners ran it down, interior was a wreck, menu and food not good at all. Recently visited newly renovated "Comedy Diner", one of the Owners John was there, was excited about what I can only call an Amazing transition. New kitchen, New Menu, and a New Comedy Club/Dining Room. The transformation is amazing. Ordered an Egg/Bacon/Cheese breakfast sandwich...no other words but thick and delicious. These guys are going with the flow of the University City resurgence in Newark and doing a great job!Recommended!!
