I gave 4 stars. reasons why, they hair out going into the food when they putting the food on the table (long braids ) the Applebee's in Springfield Ave newark. They need to wear head nets. Otherwise from that they are ok

The service was slow to seat us, and our food took 45 minutes to come out. Our appetizer came out with our food. We did not get any refills.
This would be understandable if it were busy, but the restaurant was maybe a quarter full.
The food was decent, nothing amazing. It was similar to any other Applebee's.

As visitors from Chicago, Sheila and KeeKee took good care of us at the bar. They are awesome. I highly recommend sitting with them and having a good time!! They were fast too!! They need an award or raise!!
