This spot is dope. I live in South Jersey and there aren’t any deli’s like this around here. I ordered THE MR with coleslaw, provolone cheese and Russian dressing. It was bigger than any sandwich I ever seen. I was only able to finish half ans believe me I struggled. After my moment of gluttony, I played connect 4 that was in the table. So ifyou are looking for a true pastrami sandwich this is the place with a family like atmosphere. I will drive 1 hour 1/2...
I love me a good deli with some great food and sandwiches but this place is severely overpriced. I mean if you're gonna offer a small sandwich that costs $18-25 at least offer free chips or a drink.
I was born/raised in Newark lived in other parts of Essex county my adult life. I know good corned beef and pastrami when I have it.
