Top notch for down here in the Ironbound. The food was amazing, the service was amazing. This is not watered-down Portuguese cuisine.

They are incredibly knowledgeable and happy to accommodate requests, making guests feel at home. The restaurant is kid-friendly.
The food is amazing, really good, delicious, and cooked to perfection. Portions are large and excellent. Specific meals highlighted include the canja (chicken soup), wood grilled chicken & beef rib combo, Carne de porco Alentejana, short ribs, steak, fish, salads, and desserts like the flan and roasted flaming pineapple. The steak is tender and the sangria is noted as the best. There is a large selection of beer, including Super Brock of Portugal.
Parking is available in a small lot at the back, which is a plus in an area with tough parking, and the service includes an attendant for peace of mind. This hidden gem in the Ironbound is a must-try favorite, with amazing prices and service that ensures a great experience.
