Had some time to kill while my flight was delayed during the airport outage. The place was packed so it took about 20min to get a seat and then another 15 min for someone to come get my order but every staff member I interacted with was very pleasant despite the rush of people. Got a salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll and a cold drink. Rolls were made fresh and honestly above my quality expectations for an airport sushi roll. A solid meh! Don’t expect NYC quality ramen here. You’re at an airport. In New Jersey. The miso ramen broth had some flavor and wasn’t salty, but very clear considering it was a miso broth. Pork was fatty, but it wasn’t pork belly. Maybe shredded pork shoulder? Frozen corn, canned button mushrooms, green AND white onions (?), and half of a precooked hard boiled egg rounds out the toppings. Noodles were nice and firm but still a bit clumped together.

Gentleman working alone tonight 07-7-24 made me the best airport sushi roll I've ever had. Despite having to do so much by himself (making fresh rolls, cashier, cleaning) each roll was made with care give him a raise. ❤️
