About Tsukiji Fishroom

Tsukiji Fishroom, located in the Terminal 3 Food Hall / Global Bazaar, offers a selection of high-quality sushi. The menu features nigiri options such as salmon, tuna, shrimp, tamago, and imitation crab, as well as maki rolls like salmon, tuna, salmon avocado, tuna avocado, Philadelphia, unagi, spicy salmon, and California. The sushi is flown in from a fish market in Japan and tastes very fresh, with some customers describing the fish as top notch. One reviewer mentioned that they ordered sashimi that was fresh and not pre-packaged, and it was amazing. The fish quality is highly praised, although the rice can be dry and dense at times. Prices are quite high, with a large box of 12 pieces of nigiri or 24 pieces of maki costing $33.99. Service can be quick and friendly, with staff like Raj, who speaks 7 languages and helps customers efficiently. Some customers have noted that the rolls are made quickly and are good for takeout, especially when ordered at the ramen restaurant in the same area. Overall, Tsukiji Fishroom is a solid choice for grab-and-go sushi, offering a limited but tasty selection of fresh fish.

Dude refused to believe I paid for my sushi. What a goober

Tsukiji Fishroom is a grab-and-go sushi concept that takes a very different approach from a traditional sushi restaurant. The setup is more like a self-service counter where you choose pre-prepared sushi boxes, bowls, and individual items rather than ordering from a chef. The idea is convenient, especially for a quick meal, but the experience feels quite different from what you would normally expect from a sushi spot.
