“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Had a great experience at House 157! From the moment we walked in, Kayla at the front host stand was welcoming, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. Our waitress Julie was amazing attentive, professional, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the entire experience. “I am gushing over the meal we had here. From amazing craft cocktails to an unforgettable dinner. Raphael, Julia, and Louis spoiled us. The cocktails were in fun glasses and were light and flavorful. The service was impeccable. We let them order for us. Octopus starter, then onto hanger steak, roasted chicken, sea bass, and the pork stew. All incredible with deep rich flavors. We had some great sides, a light salad to finish, and a lovely passion fruit desert. I can't say enough about this place.“

“OMG these are unlike any other custard pastry I have ever had. It’s a full stop amazing treat. Pastry is light and flaky, not standard pie crust style. The filling is warm and creamy not solid and dense.

“I met a couple of my old coworkers there December 20th after 4 years. I wanted to go to a highly rated family-run place and this establishment didn't disappoint. The burgers, meatloaf and pita wraps were excellent. The owner Vinnie greeted us and seated us, then came by to chat with us. The server was attentive and seemed to like her job. About a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Harrison PATH station. I will be making future visits there with old collegues.“

The only thing that bothered me was it says $14 online but they charged me $16. Either they over charged me or need to update the price online and post the price inside the restaurant.“
