“We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“Too bad I live out of state because this is my FAVORITE restaurant in NJ. Wonderful staff and food. Not as noisy as other places because of the decor/layout. “I won’t lie, I took my partner here as a surprise after he got into the car and I had the very Kitchen Nightmare episode this restaurant was featured in. You know, the episode with Bobby the gangsta executive chef who was making $100,000?

It was a great episode, but the owners looked like very good people. Even though it’s been a couple years, I discovered Bask46 was not only still open, but thriving.

We didn’t get to set at Gordon’s booth, but we were right next to it. The service and food were fantastic!

My partner got the tacos, which he loved (the portions look bigger than what Gordon has suggested). I had the 46 burger. The first half tasted bland, but it seems because all the flavor was just on the other side — and when I hit that, I loved it.

The potato skins appetizer was OK, but still we had a great experience.

It was a Sunday night so we didn’t expect to see the owners, but we still had a great time, and it looked like things were running smoothly.

Fun experience, and who knows, maybe we’ll trek back again. Bask46 is one of the rare Ramsay success stories, and it truly is a success.“

“This place is so clean. You wouldn't expect it when you first walk in, but there's no dust balls or cobwebs or anything on the antiques on the walls. So impressive. The staff and owners are so polite and professional, I feel like I could do a full page review on them alone. Our waitress Lisa was a pure delight. A breath of fresh air. If you enter through the bar you get to have a "Goodfellas" moment as you pass through the kitchen to the dining room and get to greet the chef. Finally, the food. It was awesome. I had the steak cooked medium and it came cooked medium..."WHAT!!".... I KNOW, who does that anymore. Cooking a steak to the temp you want it. Innovative. Oh, yeah, my wife had some did too that she thought was delicious. Anyway, it's a cash only restaurant so stop at the ATM before you head there for dinner. Go soon, you won't regret it.“

“This is the second time we’ve had Samar as our server, and he’s just wonderful! He’s so attentive, friendly, and always has a big smile on his face. We came in for the Triple Chocolate Meltdown (which is always a favorite!), but having Samar take care of us made it even better. The service here is always great. Our food comes out quickly, our orders are always right, and even the manager stopped by to check on us. This place really has that cozy, hometown restaurant vibe that makes you want to come back again and again!“

“A big, delicious mess. That is what I expect when I order BBQ style items off a menu and that's what I received! I stopped by for lunch and ordered the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich. It was much larger than I expected and I did my best to finish it but did not fully succeed. The meat was overflowing and the sauce got everywhere.

The sides were decent. I loved the slaw but the fries could have used a little salt.

I am in town for a few more days and will definitely be back to try the ribs and some happy hour specials.“

“Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“

The greens were fresh, the strawberries were sweet and delicious, the pecan and goat cheese and the dressing make for sure a wonderful salad. My husband had the Day Scallops that were perfectly prepared, my mother and sister each ordered the Pork riblets the meat was perfectly cooked and flew off the bones with ease. “We staying at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/ Meadowlands and Foodies Diner is about 1 miles from the hotel. Cute little place. My Wife and I we like th atmosphere. This is our first time here for breakfast. We order Greek omelet and Fruitie tuitty fresh toaste with 2 coffees. The fresh toast is very good but the omelet need more meat in it. “We had charlea as our server and she was THE BEST SERVER EVER. We went late for half apps and it was fantastic especially since it was late and we went as a group of 8. “We hosted a surprise 60th birthday party this past weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the first call to set it up to the moment we walked out the door, the staff made sure it was such a great experience. The people who work there are so attentive and kind. The managers Bryan and Kelly were so helpful in planning our party and Ivan is a rockstar. He took care of our party of 20 and made sure we had everything we needed. We never had to look for him, he was always checking on us and providing excellent service. He truly is so great at what he does. We had a sit down lunch in their cottage room which was so nicely decorated. the space was perfect. We felt like we were in our own restaurant. It was cozy but spacious and they were so accommodating with how we wanted it set up. We were able to bring balloons and decorations and the staff even helped us set up. They had a curtain up in the doorway so we were able to really surprise the guest of honor. Our lunch was delicious. We chose to do the seated option with 3 shareable apps and we picked a menu of 4 main meals from their party menu. Most of us ordered the shepherds pie and it was some of the best we had ever had. The presentation was cute. It came in a skillet which was served on a board with Irish soda bread. It was so delicious. The show stopper was the shareable Irish egg rolls. We couldn’t stop talking about them. The drinks were really good and the bar staff was really attentive to the party. The kids ordered from the long kids menu and they really enjoyed theirs as well. The pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny. We were able to bring our own cake and they cut it up and served it for us which was so nice. I can’t thank them enough for how special they made this experience. Everyone in our party had such an amazing time. The staff here are incredible. I would absolutely consider them for your next party.“

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Though it might be easy to overlook because of the location, it’s absolutely worth finding parking for, even if you’re coming from a bit further away. The portion sizes are huge for the price—this delicious meal was only $15, and the flavor is out of this world. The meat was so tender, it literally fell apart, and every bite just kept getting better. You can taste the love and care in every dish. It’s one of those spots that may not be packed yet, but once people discover it, I’m sure it’ll be the next go-to. Do yourself a favor and check it out!“
