“I usually never leave reviews but I had to make an exception to highlight this very special restaurant. I went with my mother and father after a long day of cleaning, and we found this spot on a whim. It was small spot, but the atmosphere was very warm, welcoming and very family oriented. At first, we were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a lot of items available on the menu but after learning that the chef was an elder we completely understood, and knew without a doubt no matter what was being cooked, with an elder mama in the kitchen the food was going to be fire - and they did not disappoint! We wound up getting the pollo guisado special because it was Sunday, some acapulias and the pernil frita. When I tell you everything was amazing?! Everything, was truly amazing. The rice, the chicken and especially the acapulias. You can taste how fresh and quality all the ingredients were, and we all left feeling extremely nourished (which to me is rare to find on the boardwalk). My father even told me that the the atmosphere took him back to his childhood and the food reminded him of his grandmother’s cooking in Viequez. This restaurant is truly good for the soul, and the taste is the definition of Latin soul food. Everyone should go, and I hope that sweet abuelita in the kitchen passes on those recipes to the babies. 10/10”

Went Friday night they were able to accommodate our party of 13 very easily. Ordered a few different starters for the table. my friend loved the raw oysters and bang shrimp. We enjoyed everything from crab cakes to grilled chicken to the Halibut special and the ribs. We all enjoyed our meals and will most definitely be back again!”

“Went to watch the Eagles game. The atmosphere was fantastic, people were friendly, food delicious. They have specials every day, that day happened to be Turkey Mash Potatoes Stuffing Fresh Green Beans Roll and Butter under $10.00 😋. Would Highly Recommend. Bartenders were outstanding!”

“Very good crab cake and fish n chips! I get these entrees often and was very impressed. The fries were mediocre tho considering curleys and chickies are nearby. But we were not there for fries! My husband got the Caesar salad that used homemade type croutons, real shredded parm, and a good creamy dressing!! We will def be back!”

“Continuing a family tradition with the next generation... the staff is incredible I loved hearing Lizzy tell stories about my grandfather and his custom designed banana split.... the mummers pin board was awesome and to see and feel my grandfather's mummers suit proudly on the wall was amazing. Lizzy thank you so much for sharing your memories.... my sons absolutely loved their ice cream the chocolate chip cookie cone was a big hit... I definitely appreciate the water ice”

“We always order our hoagies from the crest location. Fresh rolls and great hoagies but today was the first time my tuna was not up to par. Me and my husband share the tuna and cheese hoagie on the beach and today we both said we ate a bread Sandwich!😳😩😬”

“We enjoyed our take out meal for 4 and had such large portions of BBQ that it lasted for a second meal the next day! We enjoyed the chicken,beef tips, and ribs — that were like butter! Highly recommend adding the sides to your meal it will not disappoint- Macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and beans were a hit! We look forward to trying more of the menu on our next trip!”

“The North End is my go to restaurant on and off island. Great place to bring the little ones as well. The food is great and reasonably priced. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Live entertainment unlike some of the nearby places isn't so loud that you can't have a conversation or hear yourself think. The bartenders are also very friendly and go out of their way to make sure my wife gets the best chocolate martinis anywhere.”
