I would highly recommend trying their birria tacos when they’re offered as part of their special. The tortilla is freshly made, the meat is tender, and the consomé is truly heart-warming.

Lupita’s is amazing. I have had the Miguel’s bowl, enchiladas, and fajitas - never disappointed. Finding great mexican cuisine in Oakland is no longer a problem. This is not tex-mex or American fast food. It is authentic, fresh, from scratch Mexican food. You can tell by the tortillas that this food is made with passion. The staff is friendly and makes effort to remember the names of their regulars. Great hours and convenient.

Food is excellent! Fresh ingredients, meat is slow cooked & tender. Reminds me of home comfort food. I think prices are quite reasonable given all the fresh ingredients & everything is homemade
