“I recommend the food(always awesome)! However, I don’t recommend having a delivery. I had a delivery today and asked for it to be left on my step so I could get it when I got home (prepaid for). So the man rings my doorbell (like I requested), I said thank you and thought that would be all. Not once but twice he asked if I was giving him a tip. The second time he said he was going to write it on my receipt for me. Um no. Then proceeded to have an attitude and mumble under his breath as he walked away.“

“They have an intercom which is clear to let people know who have never been which window to go to and also tell people when their orders are ready. The pick up line could have been more smooth and fast paced. The food thought was delicious and full of meat. Would love to go back next time I’m in town.“

“Grabbed a ribeye steak with BBQ sauce. Pepper Jack and mayo. I wanted to get some variation and I wasn't disappointed! Only two issues not enough bbq sauce and the greasy roll. The sandwich was wrapped tight. But upon unwrapping I found the roll to be very greasy and it was getting on my hand as I was enjoying this. Tasty, but extremely messy, not to be eaten without plenty of napkins.“

“I just had to share! My husband and I stopped in to JLH in a Sunday afternoon for the first time. We had a few slices of pizza (soo fresh and awesome crust) We also had an awesome cheese stk with long hots. The bread was awesome. The stk was awesome and stuffed. The peppers were great! “This is Rocco's ! What's there to say ? As always nothing short of fast friendly and deliciously fabulous. Over 50 years family business. What's there to say besides fast, friendly and caring community icons. It's Rocco's steaks delicious fresh high quality and the Italian Hoagie is the absolute best I have ever had.( Well, actually have had repeatedly over and over and delicious every time ) I just cannot bring myself to get one from anywhere else. High quality fresh meats made correctly. They also serve many other foods and breakfast items at good prices. A popular neighborhood staple but if you don't live in the direct area definitely worth a little ride for take out. ♥️ They are take out and delivery but they do have a small counter seating and both that many like to frequent.“

The gentleman that ran the cart was friendly nad hooked my right up, even though he was in the middle of a boat load of Cheesesteak orders. If I had had room for another Cheesesteak I definitely would have ordered one of his, they looked and smelled incredible. His usual spot is right there on the corner of 6th & Market and it's a great unofficial Ambassador to the city and it's local flavors. As I traveled here, I didn’t know what to expect because I don’t know of any good , cheap food spots in this exact area right off the Blvd. Ain’t the best part of Philadelphia but there is security cameras inside & the 2 staff members were nice . I ate half of the platter first & gave my stomach some time to decide if it agreed. The cheesesteak was hot & I asked for crispy fries & they were .
For the food you get , the prices are CHEAP. Like 2019 cheap. Leave a TIP the place is ?in the rough.“

If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. Even though I just buy fries, you CANNOT help but notice that they’ve hired THEE BEST manager! I’ve been going there for years and she’s there (mostly) EVERYDAY! Working harder than the actual workers (and they work HARD too) do! The food service is EXCEPTIONAL! Always served fresh and hot!
