Decided to try the crab cakes last night. The platter after taxes was ~$29 and came with homemade chips, coleslaw and 2 4oz crab cakes.
Chips and coleslaw were good.
The crab cakes seemed very low quality.
It tasted very processed and doughy (I guess that it is the best way to describe it). Wound up throwing out one of the crab cakes because just wasn’t really good. Definitely not worth the price.
We definitely won't be back. We drove over two hours for mother's day to visit the restaurant and boardwalk. The service was horrible in the restaurant as it was outside when I contacted the business about the issues we had. My concerns were met with rudeness and excuses. We ordered food to go, and 2 more parties ordered 10 ish minutes after we did. They got their food within 5-10 minutes while we continued waiting. It took 30 minutes to get our food. i ordered crab soup and it was basically nothing but huge tomato chunks with small pieces of crab. couldn't even taste the crab
