The food is incredibly delicious, the quality of the meat is beyond words, and the service is excellent. Everything about it is fantastic. If you’re looking to try Korean BBQ, I highly recommend visiting Hanam Charcoal Galbi!
I would highly recommend coming here for authentic, high quality korean bbq. This place uses charcoal which is becoming less and less common. It really does make a difference in elevating the taste. The meats and the galbi in particular are exceptional. Even when compared to michelin star korean bbq spots in NYC, I think the quality and taste of the meat are better at hanam. You can always judge a korean spot by their banchan and the banchan here is top notch. Definitely recommend...
We had an absolutely delicious dinner here. There aren’t many Korean BBQ places still using charcoal anymore so this was a special treat! The meat is the absolute highlight - all cuts we had were so tender and marinated perfectly. The service was also outstanding with someone grilling and cutting the meat for us. The pork belly burned so he brought us a new set! Ask for sesame oil to mix with your salt. It’s delicious to dip the meat into it.
