“After one of the most stressful days of my life, I have give a shout out to this particular Jersey Mikes store. I’m a mom of three and had been running around ALL day for the sake of my kids. Getting two to before school activities, getting another to a different school on time, getting a call from school for one kid being sick, running errands, going to work, getting kids from bus stops, getting kid from after school program and a slew of other things I’ve blocked out ( you know “Mom stuff”) I decided to treat my littles to a sandwich for a quick dinner. It’s their birthday tomorrow so my daughter proudly wore her birthday crown into the store and proceeded to be her friendly self with the staff. We ordered our subs and went to pay but somewhere in my travels I misplaced my debit card. Embarrassed, I apologized to the staff for my negligence and promised to return for our food after going home to get my card. The 3 staff behind the counter simply smiled at me and slid the bag across the counter to my daughter and said “Happy Birthday”. That has got to be the nicest thing that could have happened today. Thanking them about 5 times and still promising to come back with payment I was told not to worry about it, all was good. Long story short, I climbed into my car with my kids and found my debit card between my car seat. I ran back inside to settle up now that I found my card, they still told me “nope, you’re good ma’am”. I just want to say how grateful I am and how sweet a gesture it was they made to a slightly overwhelmed mom. Thank you so much.“

“Mr. Subs in East Brunswick never disappoints! The sandwiches are always fresh, loaded with flavor, and made exactly the way you want them. The cheesesteak sub is absolutely incredible — perfectly seasoned steak, melted cheese, and fresh bread that ties it all together. Every bite was packed with flavor and the portion size was more than worth it. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and you can tell they care about the quality of their food. Easily one of the best spots around when you’re craving a great sub. Highly recommend the cheesesteak!“

“Absolutely amazing and delicious better than any Jersey mikes or subway“

“I was told about Made Kitchen through my cousin in Georgia as this was something he saw on IG. So I had to check this out especially working so close by on Easton Ave. I visited Made Kitchen on 4/26 and again 4/27 and both times didn’t disappointed were super delicious. I got the King Caesar the first visit and Big Jerk Cheesesteak on the second visit. Both sandwiches are great in portions and I couldn’t finish it in one sitting. The King Caesar was fav for sure. That chicken was tasty and the lettuce was fresh. The Big Jerk was tasty as well. Jerk seasoning had the right of kick. So you can’t go wrong with either sandwich. I’ll probably get The Heavyweight or the Chopped Cheese next visit. TBD. But definitely hit this spot up if you in the area.“

“When you are 1000 of miles away and you still can taste the sandwich, it is good. When you return to visit, you make sure you have cash, and this is the first stop always. And maybe another before you leave.“

“My Goodness, impeccable service. Sean, Mike, Alex. When I tell you all this crew was everything. That is exactly what i mean.Great customer service, food was so good. My sandwich was made exactly the way I asked. No complaints. They were super friendly & professional. The store was immaculate, food counters were very clean. I have been to so many Jersey Mike's in NC. They almost turned me off. Their service and food is nothing like the location in Metuchen NJ. I don't know how it works, but these group of people need to be promoted & highly paid. Whoever hand picked them. Great choice. This will be my go to store as long as they are servicing me. I just can't say enough about this particular group. Thank you guys for your great customer service. ❤“

“Got myself italian regular sub, mike's way. The cuts, spices, veggies and juice is extremely fresh but was not the biggest fan of the wheat bread. I feel like it was a bit dry and stale. Or maybe it is that way and I prefer subway's bread better. But the jersey mike's cookie tops Subway, for sure.“

“No longer in actual food trucks, but they taste the same. Their service is quick. Still the best fat sandwiches I’ve bought. Everywhere else is just a copy. A staple in the grease trucks community that you have to try at least once. Whenever I’m around Rutgers I have to get one. Fat Nini w/ extra honey mustard!“

“I called my order of loaded fries no chipotle mayo. Came in paid and left. I got to my destination ready to eat and there’s chipotle mayo all over. I went back and spoke to the young lady at the counter with the cooper hair. I told her I wanted a refund because I called in my order and it was wrong she did offer to make me another but I refused due to the fact that if my order was messed up to begin with instead of letting me leave with it, the young man and young lady with the braids knew it was wrong but still bagged it as if everything was correct. They didn’t even offer an apology for their mistakes. I understand that mistakes happen but it should’ve been corrected before I even got there. Time and gas wasted because of laziness.

Update. I would like to make an update to my pervious review. First I would like to say the manager Alejandro is the only reason I’m updating my review. He was very attentive with resolving the issue and making sure I had a better experience than better. His attentiveness and care for the customer is something that isn’t found with a lot of businesses. His customer service was excellent.“

“It's a very simple place to get a simple sandwich or something a little bit more. Concocted or even without any bread and turn it into a type of platter. Whatever you're looking for they have it here. Roast beef turkey oven roasted smoked swiss cheese provolone white. They got it all here and on. Good half 7 in or 16-in subs.“

“Just moved into the area and stopped in with my visiting daughter. Very friendly owner and staff, so clean and smelled great. Got an apple tuner as hot blueberry muffins came out. Such a nice guy gave me a hot blueberry muffin welcoming me into the area. I will definitely go back and try their Chicken parm with vodka sauce panini!“

“If you want a great, "old school" alternative to Tastees, this is the spot! I don't think they've changed the menu board since the 80s, maybe earlier. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. Friendly service and vintage interior decor make this sandwich shop a great stop along Woodbridge Avenue. Pictured is the tuna with pickles on the side.“

“I purchased their sandwiches frequently for lunch and when I was having a small birthday celebration, I decided to order platters of subs from them. Everything was just as I ordered it. Everything was fresh very nicely presented on the platters, and there was little to know up charge for the service of making platters.. Would definitely do that again.“

“I just finished eating my sub and it was delicious! One thing that can ruin anyone’s appetite is service and the afternoon crew was so pleasant and all smiles and laughter. I was that hard picky customer that kept saying “Half this and half that..” and lots of questions and the whole time they all had a smile on their face. I’ve also been to other Jersey Mikes where I notice the lettuce is brown or the tomatoes are too soft but this place was the opposite. “I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

Honestly nothing to say bad or disappointing about this Deli . They also have a variety of snacks ,drinks that are gluten free allergy friendly for myself and my daughter that most large box stores don't even carry .“

“Tucked in a corner of Walmart, the space is adequate for a good 20 min meal. Friendly staff. Usually has veggie patties and vegetarian options.
Every time I visit this store, I feel sure about the options I can get.

“Had delivered Breakfast panini and butternut squash soup. Both were hot and delicious and I ordered from them by accident. Still came to me hot. The breakfast panini is giving breakfast sandwiches run for its money. The soup was really nice too. Good consistency and taste“

“I’ve been here several times for breakfast sandwiches. They have been phenomenal each time. They definitely don’t skimp out like other delis and give you this roll with a tiny amount of eggs and meat. These are large sandwiches packed to the gills. And so tasty!! Love this deli. “We have been coming to this Jersey Mike's for quite a while now and just about every time we go, the food is good, and the staff are willing and able.

My family and I were havin a rough day more recently with car trouble and we needed some quick dinner food. We knew where this place was and always enjoyed it, but it was only 30 minutes before closing. Instead of getting staff that were disgruntled that they were glad to serve us. I think it was justin, jack and ziggy, if I rememeber thier name tags. The cashier even asked my mom how her day was and was she admitted it wasn't the best. All together the food was great and the staff was eagerly getting us our needs.

“The woman behind the counter was super nice and accommodating. The sub was pretty packed with Boars Head meat. Toppings were fresh. Bread was fresh. Think next time I would ask for extra vinegar because there wasn’t enough. I went by Sunday morning because I saw they made breakfast sandwiches, but they weren’t open.“

All now in college now and finally got time to order so I decided to Order ( My very first time). I ordered the Chef Salad which was just fantastic! So Fresh! “We order subs form here at least twice a month. Subs are always pretty good BUT today I ordered a meatball sub.. All I can say is it was the nastiest meatball sub I ever ate! I’m sure the meatball sub from WaWa is much better. The sub contained a crap load of sauce and mushed meat not even meatballs. The meat tasted like the cheap meat from a can. Every time I think of it I want to vomit 🤮!!!! I normally place online orders but today I went in. They don’t even put paper down while making your sandwich they place the bread on the counter and slide it from one side to the other. I didn’t complain since it looked clean BUT I will Not be ordering from there again. What a waste of $15. I tried giving the rest to my dog but he didn’t even eat it. He put it in his mouth then spit it back out. If a dog won’t eat what does that tell you???! I would really like a refund but reality I know I ain’t going to get one. So I will WARN all those who like meatball subs DO NOT go to Jersey Mikes in Matawan. They truly suck. I can’t get the nasty meat flavor out of my mouth. Smh I hope the cheese steak I picked up for my husband is good......“

“I don’t know the employees name, but occasionally I run in with a last minute craving on my way to work @8:30pm. I know it’s towards the end of the night, but she is still always so pleasant and my food always made perfect and quickly. Tonight’s turkey sandwich was no exception. Too many times people just complain or take good service for granted, and I’d love to see see them get the recognition deserved. Some of us do appreciate it, especially when we’re running to work.
