it was disappointing considering the cost. in all the ruth Chris' s i have eaten at this was at the bottom. it was a very slow night but our food came out cold. there were 8 of us at a business dinner. good was not at the caliber you would expect from ruth chris. very expensive mistake

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience last night at Ruth's Chris, especially the TasteMaker dinner where they had a custom curated menu with the wine pairings. Had some new dishes that haven't been on the menu before that I thoroughly enjoyed!

All of the wines were very good. My favorite was Walking Fool. The Wine host didn't add much to the experience. The crab bisque was probably the best course. The pork belly tasted like overly smoked ham. The texture of the filet was rather grainy. It was done properly to order, but rather tasteless. The mushroom topping was way too salty and overpowering. The potato and spinach were also over-salted. Dessert was good.

Everything was ok. Not great this time around. They didn't have any steak sauce.... and I asked for my steak to be medium... there was no pink center. The lobster tail had this seasonings on it that tasted like Old Bay or that Spicy BBQ seasoning that they use on the spicy shrimp... I didn't like that at all. A steak restaurant not having steak sauce is diabolical... and why wouldn't you mention that?

My husband and I have been going to the Parsippany, NJ location for over 25 years. A few years ago we moved out of state to SC. After contemplating a possible trip back up North, on a very busy Labor Day weekend, our deciding factor was to go visit our favorite waitress Hillary. Her personality and waitressing skills are above and beyond! It was so worth the trip. So happy to have met her so many years ago!

We are a repeat customer and come here often for special occasions. We expect a good meal for the price and are usually very satisfied with the steaks and how they're cooked. Although we now mostly stick with the fillet's, as on multiple occasions we've had other cuts that were way too fatty or overly chewy and for the price it's not worth the risk and we hardly ever will send something back.
The lobster bisque is excellent but the calamari is definitely not their specialty.
We like the Parsippany location because we've never encountered a full and loud restaurant; we can always have a relaxing quiet meal here.
Never a wait here and the service is excellent. Better prices than other steak houses in the area and the food is awesome.

Hillary was fantabulous!! We visited for our wedding anniversary and started with rose petals on the table and ended with a chocolate message on our desert plate. In between was perfection with Hillary giving us the exact amount of attention. Ask for her when you visit

The garlic mashed potatoes and the sautéed spinach are our favorite sides. Sometime we try the fixed price menu and we're always disappointed with the bread pudding they choose to give you as a dessert. I mean, come on, someone is paying a pretty penny to eat here and you want to save some money on bread pudding! Just let people pick whatever dessert they want with the fixed price menu, maybe just give as smaller portion as done with the other items on the fixed price menu.
