Blown away with everything about Shan Shan Noodles. From the moment we walked in and were greeted warmly by the waitress (owner?), we were well taken care of. She helped guide us through the menu to pick out a good balance of dishes to share: scallion pancake, pork soup dumplings, dumplings in vinegar soup, cumin lamb over hand-pulled noodles, shrimp fried hand-pulled noodles, Kung Pao chicken, and beef with hand-pulled noodles soup. Everything was delicious - fresh and flavorful!...
Shan Shan Noodles is a true gem, fresh hand pulled noodles in the suburbs, great noodle soup, and I really like the spicy ground pork on noodles dish. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. We get take out from here all the time and I feel spoiled that we get to eat food like this outside the city. I highly recommend getting some great food from Shan Shan!
The owners put so much passion into the food they serve and it is apparent with how fresh and flavorful everything is. All noodles are made fresh and in house. There’s a little window where you can peer into the back to see how the noodles are made. It’s an art form for sure. They capture the authenticity of the flavors unique to northwest China. This is definitely going to be one of my new favorite places where I don’t even need to travel to Flushing for this incredible...
