“I was looking for a small little hidden gem, and I found it at the Paulsboro Diner. I had great conversation, delicious food and the service was top-notch. Did I say friendly, haven’t been to a friendlier eatery in years.“

“Can’t count how many times we’ve been here but here is my review of Silk City.

The food was excellent. Can’t go wrong in any order. Loved the ambiance. The drinks were good. It’s good to have a reservation as this place gets packed every time, but they could accommodate you to the diner section. Service at the diner section usually takes longer. Lots of parking around the area, but it’s better if you take Lyft or Uber. Staff were amazing and really friendly.

We will always go back to this place.“

“My daughter and I have been wanting to try the soup flight for a while. Today was the day! We both had the daily lunch soup flight special. We both ordered corned beef sandwiches which were delicious and came with fries, coleslaw, pickle, and the soup flight. For the soup choices I got the cream of potato, split pea, and vegetable beef. My daughter got cream of potato, tomato orzo, and vegetable beef. They were all so good! We can’t wait to go again! Looking forward to coming for dinner and trying the salad bar which also looked delicious. Very friendly service as well!“

“The food is good, but you probably shouldn't get it delivered. Our last two orders have been wrong. Today's order of a burger, fries and coleslaw was delivered with a giant container of onion rings instead of the burger. Like how does it go out the door without the entree? Really great place when you go out to eat though, just avoid them on GrubHub.“

“Huge fan, I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Johnny Hot’s, until today 8/30/24. I was supposed to have just pork roll on a steak roll with spicy mustard, no egg and no cheese. The pork roll is usually cut very thin with a nice braise on it. It had egg & cheese on it. The egg & cheese were warm the meat was cool, no grill color to it. By the time I took the egg & cheese off there was hardly any pork roll, very disappointed. It was “no change” Friday, so I gave my apprentice 15 dollars for a sandwich I couldn’t even eat.“

“We've been coming here for about a decade, and always liked it, through name change and management change. The food is good, the portions are large. If, however, you have a larger party (Wife and kids and I are a party of 7) don't go on Sunday!! They prioritize the smaller parties and make the larger ones wait a ridiculous amount of time. it took 1 hour and 20 minutes before we actually got our breakfast. in the meantime, 3 tables near us had come in , gotten their food and finished. First come, first served SHOULD be the rule, but here, it apparently isn't.“

“I would have given five stars , but the issue is not with the food or the service or the Atmosphere. The issue is with their credit card and debit card system whatever you want to call it. This is the first time since I've opened this bank account that THIS HAS HAPPENED!!!IT took 2 weeks to first take the original charge and then after the fact took another week to take the tip. This bank account has been so fantastic that the amounts that get taken off usually get taken off immediately right away. “Good evening Google Family. Mom and I visited the Stargate Diner today on Motivational Monday, September 30, 2024, the last day of the month of September. Can you believe it? Time is going so fast. Time does not wait for anyone. We visited after I patronized the Walmart in Eddystone to purchase items for the house. We visited the bathroom first at Stargate and it was clean. Then we ordered our entrees. Mom of course, ordered tilapia, applesauce and mashed potatoes. The server forgot our applesauce but she gave it to us when we were leaving. It took a little while to receive our food since they were short staffed today. Everything was good when we got it. I ordered salmon, potato salad and applesauce. Nothing to drink. We enjoyed our food and our experience here. Joann was our server and she was good!! WE will ask for her again when we return. Have a great night Google family and don't forget to work out!!!“

“Went to brunch for fathers day the food was pretty good. They also didn't have small cups with a lid and straw for children. Unfortunately I won't be returning. As a single father I was forced to change my daughters diaper in the women's bathroom, as there is not one in the men's or a family restroom. I knocked and cracked the door saying "dad coming in to change a diaper!" with no repsone i entered and proceeded to change my daughter. We were pretty much in and out under 5 mins. The longest part was prepping the changing table that was dirty (strap doesn't work either) as I'm finishing up the diaper change a waitress came to the door, standing in front of it holding it open and stood there awkwardly. As I finished dressing her I smiled said "Hi" with no response and a awkward stare. as I gathered my things and was holding her I said can I help you? agian no response just standing there with a sour face. upon walking out of an extremely awkward situation I stated to her that she wouldn't have to stand there if they had a changing table in the men's room. her response was a huff and puff with no response. By the way only two people came in during that time a woman with a child as well she said hi and then walked in used the bathroom, the other didn't say anything went to the bathroom and left. If one of them was to complain shame on them as well. Happy Father's day to all the single Dads out there that have to deal with more then you think!“

“As I always do at diners I order breakfast and it was perfect. The food was cooked well and the bacon was delicious. The waitress paid close attention to what we ordered and made sure it came out well. Environment was clean and inviting. My boyfriend ordered the Moussaka which was absolutely amazing, highly reccomend trying it!“
