About Checkers

Checkers is a convenient late-night dining option, open until 4 AM, offering a wide selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Orders are prepared quickly, even during busy times at the drive-thru, and the food is consistently hot and fresh. The staff, including a welcoming and enthusiastic manager, provides excellent service, with recent reviews highlighting the professionalism and dedication of the team. The restaurant's cleanliness creates a comfortable atmosphere for diners. Checkers is known for its value meals, which are considered worth the price and often cheaper than McDonald's. Customers enjoy the juicy burger, described as better than some sit-down restaurants, and the cheesecake sundae with funnel cake fries is highly recommended. The outside seating area offers a great view for guests, especially during sunset. However, parking can be limited, and late-night visitors may encounter homeless individuals asking for food. Some food items, like the chicken bites and fries, may not always be perfect—occasionally soggy or cold—but the overall experience remains positive thanks to friendly staff and tasty options. The manager and crew receive praise for their care and good service, making Checkers a favorite spot for many, including regulars after local hockey games.
