“I don't know how many times I drove by Wood Stack on Rt 46 without paying any attention to it. Then a family party was held there and I was impressed. The food here is just good. Fresh, plenty of it, and served attractively. It has become one of our go-tos. I especially like the lunch menu - the eggplant sandwich and half salad is my regular order. The pizzas are excellent and the entrees generous and full of flavor. My husband's favorite thing is the chocolate chip cookie and milk dessert, served warm on a wooden board. Service is always consistent too. Great place to have here in town.“

“Gencarelli's has been around for over 25 years so you know they must be doing something right over here and that fact remains totally obvious in every delicious bite of literary everything that comes outta this super legit old school Pizzeria Restaurant. And lately I gotta say that their one-of-a-kind thin crust style Pizza has gained all my attention and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to break its hold. It's pretty easy to see what makes this Pizza something special even from the first glance you take of it. Pies here appear to be larger than most other places around and I think that's because they use the same amount of dough but they just expand it in order to keep that thin crispy crust texture that they're locally known for. Toppings are also uniquely special here and certain combinations can't even be found anywhere else that I know of, which also adds to the "cravability factor" this spot maintains over my tastebuds. All ingredients are fresh and noticeably appealing with each and every tremendously tasty bite. Yup, I'm definitely hooked on this Cheesy, Saucy, yet firmly flexible thin crust style Pizza and I'll do my best to keep my composure as I wait patiently until my next visit. I should also mention the incredible menu full of Italian inspired food that they offer here too other than what I've already covered, but since exceptional Pizza is the first thing you see upon entering it's pretty easy to overlook everything else. “This place is unbelievable!!! My husband and i went for a quick lunch date and man, our only regret is that we hadn't tried it sooner. We got a salad, broccoli rabe, and the classic pizza to share. “Can't speak highly enough about the level of service and the professionalism of the staff. The food of course was so amazing, my party and I got the tuna tartare, the prawn salad, the ragu, the scallops, and other entrees and it was all amazing. It was a tiny bit loud but we were right under the speakers. But everything else was so good I didn't even mind. They even brought out a cake for my birthday. I'm 1000% going back. The manager even mentioned a lady's night on Thursday so I'll have to check that out :) 10/10“

“It's very disappointing to see that already after only a few months of being open to make changes and to start cutting corners with their menu. They changed up their Sub Sandwich rolls from a beautiful seeded semolina roll to some substandard Italian sub roll. The bread makes the sandwich. Any chicken Parm and Meatball Parm should have stayed on that semolina roll. Cheesesteaks should not, they belong on those other Italian rolls. It "was" the best chicken Parm I ever had. Now it's just like every other round of the mill pizza joint that comes and goes...“

“Unique and delish. My amazing title person stopped by my office and brought there Homemade Potato Donuts called Spudnuts. The dulce de leche with sea salt was my favorite, but it’s super rich. The cinnamon sugar was a close second. You definitely can’t eat the whole donut since they are so large. They were warm and fresh when she brought them in. I have never been here but it’s definitely a fan favorite to most in Morristown. They also have breakfast sandwiches, pizza, burgers, gyro platter and a ton of other comfort foods. I haven’t stopped in, but based on the spundnuts I definitely will stop in soon!“

We got one mushroom/onion and one buffalo chicken. Both were excellent. Could've easily eaten a whole pie by myself, so getting two for two people allowed us to get two different types, and take some slices home. It was packed but food ready pretty quickly. It was full by the time we left. Food was great. The fresh bread and mushroom app special was exceptional. It’s BYO and a short walk to wine store on south street. We met one of the owners who offered a suggested wine pairing for my entree. We were happy to learn they are passionate about quality and sourcing of their food. Shrimp is from gulf and not international where they destroy environments and abuse people. They grow their own fresh herbs in front window (yes those are for the kitchen) and with grow lights in a closet. Looking forward to coming back to try the pizza.“

It was tough to sit in the car with that phenomenal aroma. Although we didn't try the pizza, the entrées we opted with were delicious. We ordered the rigatoni with meat sauce, and that was pretty good. The chicken cheesesteak with the works (onions, peppers, and mushrooms) were fully loaded. The vegetables were at the bottom and the chicken was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of cheese. I loved the well toasted bun that was very crispy. “I order all the time and great food. My only suggestion is for some dinners they offer don't put over pasta unless states. I ordered veal Frances that came with a side of pasta. Veal was on top of and all the lemon butter sauce was soaked up so the veal was dry. Not what I planned on ordering based on menu. But I will never stop going back will just be clear. UPDATE to all. I apologize to francos not a criticism a suggestion. Owner not only called me but so gracious and wasn't want I was looking for.
