“Went out to Coco’s Cocinas for the first time and I will definitely be back. The food was an amazing and my server was one of the sweetest girls ever! I got the tacos and my partner got the enchiladas. I believe my servers name was Brooke? I was told she works Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you go on these days I recommend asking for her she is so pleasant, sweet, and working while getting her degree! I’ll definitely be back and happy to see the restaurant prioritizes good food and a good staff!“

“Love this place and go in/order here often since its local. I really like the birra dumplings and seafood eggroll. However, I recently tried their wings ordering out and was HIGHLY disappointed?. I paid $12 for soggy old meat with no flavor, yet I ordered the chipotle wings . I made my two friends try the wings bc i refused to even eat them. She said it burnt her lip and the smell made her nauseous. They were literally FUNKY. Will still continue to eat here because for the most part their food is good. However after this experience I won’t risk ordering their wings??!!!“
“My wife and I tried this place for the first time on 02/09. They actually had live entertainment! A guy singing his heart out in Spanish. It really added to the atmosphere. The food is phenomenal! Very authentic. The portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back.“

As we ordered, we asked several questions about the different food items & the server (who we found out was Vicki’s mom) answered all of our questions. Given that we have different spice levels (I have a very low pin tolerance for spicy but love the flavors!), she even suggested items we might enjoy.We ordered a chicken burrito, a chicken quesadilla, chicken enchiladas, & a side of guacamole & chips. Today was the day to finally give it a shot and my stomach and I are elated that I did. I had the California screaming burrito (or something like that). It was SO FLAVORFUL. Wonderful staff whom accommodated our walk in party of 10 today for lunch and despite being a smaller restaurant with other diners and what sounded like tons of takeout orders coming in, there wasn't a single hiccup in service. I had the fish tacos which were super filling and delicious. Boyfriend had the steak burrito which he housed while telling me how dumb we were for not having tried this place sooner. Our other family members had fajitas and pork tacos...the kids mostly at the tenders/burgers from the kids menu. Some in our party had never tried Mexican food and fell in love with it. “Omg!!!! I found this place by accident today. Walker over to it from the far side of the lot expecting to see a pizza place. Walker inside and it literally can't get anymore basic. A few tables and folding chairs. Over the place was clean and the bathroom was very clean. Now for the important part. They served me up the best chorizo tacos I have ever had! Good authentic Mexican tacos served with radish I put some of their house made hot sauce on the tacos and it was heaven. This is one of the hidden gems that you rarely find. I'll be back for sure !!!! I should also mention the service was great the nice lady behind the counter was very pleasant.“

I got the steak tacos & my boyfriend got the Al pastor sopes. I moved here from Bridgeton where we had TONS of Mexicans restaurants to chose from & I have to say that Taqueria La Patrona by far had the best tacos I’ve had in a very long time. They are right near the lake house restaurant. I ate 1 and a half tacos and was full ? I usually don’t do reviews but they have a customer for life!! Definitely better than your standard Mexican restaurant, but the chicken was a little dry (we had the chicken chimichanga and a chicken wet burrito... Also guac and chips) in my opinion the guac and chips was overpriced for what you got, but the rest was fair. I'll probably get it again“
“We are always looking for a different local breakfast spots to try out. We found this one through a local Facebook group and thought let’s check it out and we were not disappointed. The staff were so welcoming and the restaurant is beautiful, (looks like a total remodel plus they are working in the outside) comfy seating and super clean. We had the Tres Leches French toast and Huevos Rancheros, from the elevated presentation to the taste everything was impeccable. We are looking forward to go back to see what they can do with dinner.“
