“When you get iced coffee they offer regular ice or a coffee ball. It’s a ball of frozen coffee so it doesn’t water down your drink as it melts. It was good. I also had a pumpkin muffin. It would be nice if there was a mocha on the menu though.“

“A little confusing to locate; the sign for Black Anchor is on the wall of the stall for Crepes & More. Even when mapping it and standing practically in front of it, we had difficulty finding this. Being avid coffee drinkers, we came to this boardwalk ONLY for this coffee house, which wasn't a house at all, just a stall. There's no seating. I'm not sure if this was formerly just a coffeehouse and they've changed directions with their business? The coffee was good.“

“From the moment we were greeted, to the moment we walked out, what a great experience. The service was welcoming, the food outstanding, and the ambiance is what you want when near the beach. The place is clean, and well set up, plenty of tables, but not so that you are bumping into them as you walk through.
Try the avocado toast, and if hungry add an egg. The jalapenos jam and pepper flakes puts this thing together!
The omelette was a hit with my son.
We also had a cucumber watermelon lemonade, that was both tasty and refreshing (not too sweet).
All in all, this place was excellent.

“All my coffee beans come from Rook! Some of my coffee mugs, too. I have the kind of machine that grinds whole beans before pouring. Rook's Nicaragua and Guatemala are favorites. The staff are all so friendly. Lots of locations, too.“

“We have gone here every weekend ever since we found out about this place! I wish they opened earlier than 11 am :( - Their coffee (specifically lattes) are out of this world. Before, LaVazza had my favorite lattes, but now CB does! Not only that, but $4-5 for an amazing good sized-coffee? I have probably had 15 by now and I have never had a bad one. I've tried most of their specialty candy bar lattes but the Jack Frost is my favorite - Service is outstanding. I've been served by multiple employees and so far they've all been extremely nice and helpful. Both dine-in and take-out. They are also very fast - Food is also extremely good, but, in my opinion a bit too expensive for what it is. However, the size is decent and it tastes very high quality. 15% lower price would be better. The chicken parm sandwich and caesar salad are my favorites and one of the best I've ever had (longhorn beats their caesar). Food has not disappointed so far - Environment is also nice. Clean area, clean bathrooms, and bonus that it's not always jam packed so it's quite peaceful Food I have tried and enjoyed: quesadilla, grilled chicken nachos, fries, caesar salad, classic pizzette, cheeseburger, sicily stuffed chicken wrap, chicken brushette wrap, chicken broccoli cheddar wrap, chicken cordon bleu wrap. Their chicken is also fantastic“

“One of the better Sausage egg and cheese on a roll around. I always add a PB&J bar along with my dark roast. Staff is friendly as well as the people who visit. Nice to shop local and family run. I only wish they had more seating as it can get busy and I come from out of town so I’m not a take away customer. I can see take away is their bread and butter. Good stop to buy beans for home.“

“The cutest and most charming coffee shop and market among the shore towns ever! We stopped by today and out front are two pop up businesses next to an outdoor sitting area. Walking in surrounding the coffee bar are unique home goods, goods from local craftsmen and artisans, and products to check out. The focus on products here is local, and that makes the market somewhere I want to frequent and support. There is a display case in the middle for basic groceries and produce/fruit as well as a fridge case for refrigerated items.

But lemme get to the coffee and drinks...the coffee is rich, strong, and flavorful. The baristas informed us that the coffee is brewed Australian style so it's stronger than regular coffee. A single pull is double the espresso from the coffee machine resulting in a powerful coffee drink that will last you thru the day however you like it made. I'm a double espresso over ice kinda person so this was absolu perfect for me. My niece had the lavender lemonade, and that lemonade is fresh and delicious! I got there a little late in the afternoon after lunch so I had no room for pastries or baked goods, but even those are made locally from local bakers!

The service was great...efficient and friendly! Plus the shop is right across the street from the handicapped entrance to the beach.
