“The service was nice. Easy and to the point in terms of communication. They accommodated so needs or wants which is great and often unusual at similar spots. They've been there for decades. The food was yummy and they substituted a different style of chicken for fried for us. Huge portions. Very friendly workers, and same for the delivery folks. Fair prices. Order from them. Others in the area have fallen off or cut corners or won't make simple changes. Not so with this place. Support a local gem.“

“My go-to Chinese food spot for take away and delivery. The food is always fresh and flavorful but not overpowering; I want to use the term clean to describe their flavor(s). Their portions are very generous regardless of the size ordered and it’s consistent, you always know what you’re taking home with you. They also have really good rice, the consistency is top notch, slightly sticky and cooked to perfection . I recommend the Shrimp w/lobster sauce (I have had better, but it’s good), chix/broccoli, Mongolian beef, any of their curry dishes, and their dumplings (they’re delicious!)“

“My husband and I started going to Sentosa's about 21 years ago and went there often up until we moved out of the area about 10 years ago. I miss them as it was always a nice experience to eat there. “We've been eating Hunan Gardens food since before John and Shirley bought this restaurant from Lisa and Uncle. But boy John and Shirley have shown how committed they are to all of their patrons. They became parents of 2 wonderful children throughout the years. Their daughter Kim, attends Rutgers and still makes time to help mom and dad out. Their son Kevin, is a graduate from HS North in Tom's River. Even during Covid theyveorked hard at staying open and serving the best Chinese food in noot just Tom's River but in my opinion Ocean County. I for one would love for them to be able to reopen sit-down eat in restaurant. John definitely has the best pork fried rice. Nobody makes it like him.
