“This place is awesome! The sushi is excellent (and they have some nice veggie and non-fish options as well) and great quality. The apps such as edamame and gyoza were also delicious. We've dined in and the place is very homey and comfortable. We ordered delivery and when an item was forgotten, they brought it along with an item on the house! “A very good local sushi spot. I've been coming here every since they opened in their previous location and the sushi here is the best in the area. I usually get their special rolls at least once a month. Highly recommend if you're in the area.“

“We ordered the mizu, kiss of summer, Naruto, jade, and Verona and they were all so fresh and delicious. Lots of fish and lots of flavor. I do think the mango could be more ripe though. Tap water also wasn't my favorite but don't let that prevent you from getting this great sushi. Although we couldn't have any of the sauces that came with the rolls since they had gluten, they did have GF soy sauce which was great. The server didn't have much personality and we did have to reconfirm what sauces had gluten and which didn't and had to ask for a second GF soy sauce as well even though in the beginning we did say there are two of us. Pretty empty at 5pm on a Sunday and plenty of free parking (on Sundays) around the corner.“

“My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent... edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and food came out quickly. “This was my second visit to Tempura Place. It was a Saturday at 3:30pm. I had never eaten any kind of sushi in my 50 years and I decided to dive in here. I've ordered the spicy tuna and the spicy crab. Sense a theme? I guess a total of one person could technically eat-in but this is primarily take-out. I was informed it would take 10 minutes to prepare but it was done before that. I watched Korean Broadcasting Company on the television as I waited. I experienced pleasant service and great food. Waribashi chopsticks were included.“

“It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“

I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Donburi but was refused since it appears to be a take-out only item for some reason so I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki dish. The entertainment was restrained and that was perfect for me. I ordered the ribeye hibachi, most of the rest of our group had the chicken. The ribeye was amazingly tender. We also had a Godzilla roll and a Philadelphia roll. Excellent quality rolls. The hibachi came with fried rice, noodles, vegetables, soup, salad, shrimp, and a scoop of ice cream. If you're a sushi lover, then I do recommend this place.It's different from a traditional buffet because they give you a menu sheet and pencils, and you pick the items you want, and they make your food Ala carte. The food is brought out on a large tray which is placed kn the table. It's more like a share type set up, and it works nicely.My only complaint is the restraunt itself. It's sleepy and very outdated. Feels like you stepped back in time. The seating is old and the tables are too small. If they updated the decor and gutted the place and made it more modern, their business would skyrocket more than it already is.Regardless of the decor, I will be going back again because the food is that good.“
