“Ordered via GrubHub for a late Friday night dinner when the sushi craving hit. I ordered a tuna bowl, and hubby had a salmon bowl. All of the sushi bar bowls come with edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, kani salad, regular salad (in this case, it was arugula), and avocado. The fish came in huge chunks, lightly marinaded, and tasted fresh. No complaints. I’d order again and try some actual rolls next time. I saw on their menu a pretty good deal for lunch - $12.50 for three regular rolls, so I’ll have to check that out.“

We wait a little more of what we expected.

I'm not sure if she just dislike me and my family but we've also have had friends that have gone there and have said the same thing about her. The sushi team behind the counter are lovely. Everyone else is nice. We are regulars of a few years because of the good but honestly I didn't even know the name of the place because we literally call it mean lady sushi vs other places. “So good . When you order takeout fried food, they wait to the last minute of your delivery time to put the food in the fryer. Don't complain if you have to wait a few extra minutes . To get hot crisp food instead of soggy cold stuff that steamed it self cold in the togo containers. LOVE THEM.“

“We had dinner at Matsu on Friday......its a little gem in Hillsdale. We were pleasantly surprised, by the quality and quantity of the food. The Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. “Such an underrated spot, they have some incredible food here! My fav is definitely their Berkshire tonkatsu and cha soba noodles ( so refreshing).

The tonkatsu is crispy yet juicy and tender - probably one of the best tonkatsu I’ve had in NJ.
