“This place is our go-to sushi spot since 2019. We’ve tried almost every place in Fair Lawn/Ridgewood/Glen Rock but we anyways return here.Food has never disappointed - consistent and tasty. Our kids have eaten here since they were 3 and 6 without issue. We celebrate each of their birthdays here, including today!The service is exceptional and they make us feel like family every time. Wonderful place, wonderful owner - couldn’t recommend it enough.

The chicken teriyaki box is a great deal served fresh with fantastic flavor and came with so many delicious sides. I also tried a couple of sushi rolls and seems like you can't go wrong with any options. I haven't had fresh cuts of fish like that anywhere else! Definitely recommend!“

“I wish I took before pictures of our food. We stopped in after a very long day out and about and the food was so good that we left feeling energized. We got the ocean roll, pork buns, tonkotsu ramen and a spicy tuna onigiri. Everything was delicious!!

The ocean roll was fresh and tasty, the pork buns were just delicious, the ramen was so so amazing- the pork was tender, the broth was so flavorful and all the add ins just did wonders for the the flavor and the spicy tuna onigiri was hands down one of the best we’ve had.

The service was also great! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was on par and so cute! We cannot wait to come back and are so happy we found our new go to spot 🤗

“The rolls are fantastic but the wagyu beef steals the show here. Mango roll with tuna is something different and one of my favorites on the menu. The owner is a wonderful man and the place is extremely clean. You can tell how much pride is taken in this place for our community. I highly recommend it.“

And what really surprised me is that they are so thin but there is so much of them! I know some places have ginormous sushi, sometimes I can barely fit one in my mouth! But these! Top tier! “I would say this is the best Hibachi I have ever had! All are cooked from the top notch fresh ingredients. The sea bass is juicy, the steak is just right, the fried rice and noodles have a pleasant garlic favor which I never had it before at other restaurants , homemade teriyaki sauce adds just right sweetness. After eating at another establishment not far from here, the name caught our eye. As we walked we noticed a market attached. We proceeded in and bought several things that sparked our interest. As we left we said,
“ let’s come back and eat here one day!”
Yesterday was the day, we stumbled in early and were lucky enough to snag a tiny booth as we had no reservations ( hint ).
We found out after thoroughly enjoying this meal that they have been there over 40 years.
This place was special, spot on, can’t wait to return. Thanks for a great meal and a warm atmosphere.

“Recently We had dinner here .it was our first time .as soon as I walked in I was attracted by the unique decorations here .it was well themed atmosphere, I felt calming and welcoming and my kids love the fish decorations.

The food here is great . They have creative sushi menu.there is so many exotic rolls you can choose and they offer kids menu .
We ordered the sushi pizza, sushi love boat ,sweet heart roll gyoza and Thai calamari. Everything tested fresh.all very delicious. The service was attentive and friendly.By the way it’s BYOB.

“Sarku has been a staple of food courts for as long as I can remember. To be honest, the sushi is really good! We ordered at the front and they made it fresh on the spot.
