“A lovely family runs this restaurant that prides itself on the freshest and interesting sushi and Asian delicacies. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. Dine-in is no frills decor, but it’s BYO and it’s the food that I keep coming back for. Diane is a great sushi chef!“

“I had a really great experience here and would definitely recommend this place. The restaurant was very clean, the seating wait time was super quick, and the menu prices were affordable and accessible.
I also really appreciated the variety of vegetarian sushi options. As someone who doesn't eat seafood or raw fish, it can sometimes be hard to find good options at sushi restaurants, but here there were plenty of rolls with different vegetables and ingredients to choose from.
The drinks were great as well, and we even received dessert included with part of the menu, which was a really nice touch. Overall, the experience felt enjoyable, comfortable, and worth the visit.
There's also plenty of parking nearby, which made everything much more convenient. I'II definitely be coming back!“

“Ordered via GrubHub for a late Friday night dinner when the sushi craving hit. I ordered a tuna bowl, and hubby had a salmon bowl. All of the sushi bar bowls come with edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, kani salad, regular salad (in this case, it was arugula), and avocado. The fish came in huge chunks, lightly marinaded, and tasted fresh. No complaints. I’d order again and try some actual rolls next time. I saw on their menu a pretty good deal for lunch - $12.50 for three regular rolls, so I’ll have to check that out.“

“Staff treats you like family, love how the place is always decorated, and decoration is included in the prefix menu's, birthday packages for free! Food is great, loove the ceviche and chicken mofongo with white sauce. My son is a fan of their Chowfan. They also cater for parties! “Sushi and food is pretty good overall but the service at this place is really hit or miss. There are two (I believe) revolving servers/people who answer the phone. The younger server is very polite and friendly. However the other is incredibly rude, on the phone, and in person. I ordered from this place very often in the past but I will no longer be ordering from here. His attitude makes it not worth it for me. Overall if you’re just looking for good sushi this place is fine, but don’t expect good service.“

“It is with a full stomach and heart that I am able to publicly share how wonderful Blu Sushi is. Not only is the fish the freshest, but it run by welcoming and friendly staff, chefs and owners. It is not often that you find a restaurant without any criticisms, but then I found Blu. The dining and take-out experiences are how all food establishments should be run. The staff are clearly happy and supported which makes it, without question, a smaller establishment that I am happy to patronize. If you are reading this and considering ordering or not, just do it. “Ordered the Chicken Katsu and Chicken tenders. Both came with sliced cabbage and rice. Both were equally delicious. The breading was perfect and the meat was tender.

They do take reservations and I would recommend making one if you have small children, they have a limited amount of high chairs.“

“I had an amazing experience at Masago Sushi in Ridgewood, NJ. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prices are also such a big factor since its so low for such big portions. But what really stood out, was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick without ever feeling rushed. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. I would like to acknowledge the service of Ashley. She was so nice and really made us know that we didn’t make a mistake going here.

The atmosphere is also a big plus! Warm, clean, and relaxing, with a modern touch that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a nice dinner out. You can tell they put care into creating an inviting dining environment.

“Such an underrated spot, they have some incredible food here! My fav is definitely their Berkshire tonkatsu and cha soba noodles ( so refreshing).

The tonkatsu is crispy yet juicy and tender - probably one of the best tonkatsu I’ve had in NJ.

“The CRAZIEST thing has happened!!!

I have never experienced such high-effort service before. I was out for an early birthday dinner with a few family members, my uncle in particular, enjoys his drinks with ice (lol who doesn’t.) However, after he ordered his signature coca-cola, we were told there was no ice left. Understandably, my uncle was very upset and made it clear to the worker.

Just then, as we were receiving our sushi order, a very kind man named Michael noticed this concern, and told us he was going to the store to get ice. He went out of his way to leave the place, go to CVS, and FREAKING PAID FOR A GIANT ICE PACK JUST TO GIVE MY UNCLE AN ICED DRINK. He basically paid for our drinks if you compare prices. I have never experienced or witnessed this type of outstanding service before.

At first, we didn’t believe it at first, we even bet 5 bucks because we swore we just misheard him. 5 minutes later, he comes back with a giant iced cup just perfect for my uncle to pour his cola in. When was the last time you’ve experienced this?

And on top of that, he served us ice cream dessert on the house!!! We spoke to him for a bit, he even recognized us and where we sat all times we ate here in the past months. He is a very kind man. Shoutout to Michael!!!!!!“
