“I had a really great experience here and would definitely recommend this place. The restaurant was very clean, the seating wait time was super quick, and the menu prices were affordable and accessible.
I also really appreciated the variety of vegetarian sushi options. As someone who doesn't eat seafood or raw fish, it can sometimes be hard to find good options at sushi restaurants, but here there were plenty of rolls with different vegetables and ingredients to choose from.
The drinks were great as well, and we even received dessert included with part of the menu, which was a really nice touch. Overall, the experience felt enjoyable, comfortable, and worth the visit.
There's also plenty of parking nearby, which made everything much more convenient. I'II definitely be coming back!“

“Many people seem to enjoy this place, and there is a good variety of food and drinks. The food was generally quite good, except for the jjimdak (steamed chicken). It looked amazing in the menu photos, but it arrived undercooked and had to be cooked longer at our table, which took quite a while. When it was done. it was also a bit spicier than we expected as well
The restaurant was very busy on a Friday night, with people waiting for tables. Because of that, it felt like there was some pressure to finish and leave rather than relax and stay for a long conversation. In that sense, it felt more like a traditional Korean restaurant than a bar where you can sit with friends and talk for hours. Overall, the food and atmosphere were good, but the dining experience felt a bit rushed.“

“I got so lucky when I randomly stumbled upon this place while getting lunch at work. As someone who loves chicken teriyaki trust me when I say you must try theirs. I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! I have tried probably 50+ restaurants and nothing can beat this. From the way they prepare chicken, to the homemade sauce they use, the perfectly cooked rice and the avocado, egg and dumplings they add on.... it is one of the greatest combinations i've ever tasted. On top of that, their sushi is always delicious and fresh. If thats not enough, they also have fantastic owners and workers there. I always get a warm greeting, and they're thankful for my patronage. I also got the green salad with ginger dressing, which tasted so fresh and flavorful. The shrimp shumai were honestly addictive. They also included veggie gyoza and miso soup on the house, and both were delicious as well. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and I will definitely be returning to Kame Sushi.“

“Positive vibes and a great experience. I’ve visited this place several times in person, and I’ve also done takeout a couple of times. The most recent time was takeout. I needed to feed a small group and asked about platter offerings, but was told they don’t have any set menus. They asked what I was looking for and made some recommendations to fit my needs and requested budget.

To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. They delivered and then some. It was a combination of various sushi, regular rolls, and specialty rolls.

They also asked about any potential allergies in the group, along with any specific preferences or dislikes.

The food was fantastic in taste and presentation. It was well packed and came with plenty of ginger, wasabi, and miso soup. They also gave me delicious tea while I waited for them to complete my order.

After ordering and eating entirely too much delicious food the couple who owns the restaurant gave me a ride to the bus station. Club music was too much & a tad loud. Chefs working at the sushi counter were not engaging at all but looked unhappy. They never said a word, not even hello or good bye. Servers were attentitive & somewhat friendly. Later on a gentleman, maybe the owner, had good energy & greetings. Omakase would have been better if the sashimi was not warmer than room temperature. Ramen at the end was strange & unnecessary. No dessert was included and that would have been better to finish the meal with. Prices are fair. BYOB is a major plus. Next time will not do omakase, as neighboring people were enjoying their a la carte dishes.“
