The sushi was very fresh, provided it had not been on the belt for too long, and we would also recommend ordering the hot food. The robot was charming, and we enjoyed having it deliver our drinks. We also appreciated the restroom facilities, which featured heated seats and bidets. While we were unsure about the availability of prizes, our waiter kindly provided a charm for our son. A family run establishment with a single sushi chef that shows dedication in the meals he creates. Passing through the area I stopped in and requested an Omakase at the bar and was given a wonderful experience! The multi course Omakase featured some unique dishes such as Chuka Idako, fried Shishamo, Madai, Hotategai, Chutoro, Maine Uni and Chawanmushi. Overall this was a pleasant experience with a good atmosphere and tradition dishes you may not find at your typical sushi restaurant 6.7/10.“

“Every time I’ve been to Maguro Sushi House in Rochelle Park, the sushi is absolutely delicious. Fresh, made right there on the spot, and full of flavor, it’s the kind of place that just feels good. “The CRAZIEST thing has happened!!!

I have never experienced such high-effort service before. I was out for an early birthday dinner with a few family members, my uncle in particular, enjoys his drinks with ice (lol who doesn’t.) However, after he ordered his signature coca-cola, we were told there was no ice left. Understandably, my uncle was very upset and made it clear to the worker.

Just then, as we were receiving our sushi order, a very kind man named Michael noticed this concern, and told us he was going to the store to get ice. He went out of his way to leave the place, go to CVS, and FREAKING PAID FOR A GIANT ICE PACK JUST TO GIVE MY UNCLE AN ICED DRINK. He basically paid for our drinks if you compare prices. I have never experienced or witnessed this type of outstanding service before.

At first, we didn’t believe it at first, we even bet 5 bucks because we swore we just misheard him. 5 minutes later, he comes back with a giant iced cup just perfect for my uncle to pour his cola in. When was the last time you’ve experienced this?

And on top of that, he served us ice cream dessert on the house!!! We spoke to him for a bit, he even recognized us and where we sat all times we ate here in the past months. He is a very kind man. Shoutout to Michael!!!!!!“

I've gone several times and have ordered Bibimbap, Soon Tofu soup, sushi, seafood pancake, and chicken fried rice with kimchi. Everything is always so fresh and delicious!
The service is on the slower side (usually take around 45mins+) since they are a small team, but the food is completely worth it, and I personally don't mind the wait.“

“Ordered from here for the first time. Got unagi don and the sashimi deluxe. Both came with miso soup. I asked for substitutions in fish and they gave me exactly what I asked for. The sashimi was good for the most part, the salmon was the best part, melted in my mouth and delicious. The other fish were good too. The unagi don was good but a bit too salty, so that was a little disappointing. I haven't tried the miso soup yet.“
