“I’ve been coming to Sushi Story since the day it opened, and it continues to impress every single time. The first thing that stood out to me was the service—warm, immediate, and sincere. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted and made to feel welcome. The waitresses are consistently polite, attentive, and always carry a genuine smile. In particular, the waitress with the slicked-back hair has a way of elevating every visit; she’s made several special occasions truly memorable. The restaurant is almost always busy, and for good reason. Because seating can be difficult to secure, I strongly recommend making an RSVP ahead of time. Even with the constant flow of guests, the experience never feels rushed. The master sushi chef is actively engaged with diners, adding an extra touch of authenticity and hospitality to the meal. As for the food—exceptional. The salmon and tuna are always fresh, vibrant, and prepared perfectly. It’s easily one of the best places to enjoy a great evening out with family or friends. And don’t forget: it’s BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine. Sushi Story is truly a gem, and I look forward to visiting again very soon.“

“We were first time been osaka sushi last night , it was very cold outside , but restaurant was very warm , the waitress was very nice and friendly , we didn’t know how it was work about ayce, waitress was very patient to tell me how it is works, we had 3 round sushi and kitchen, everything was great and delicious , we recommend more and more people come to try this sushi spot. “I just finished a fabulous Hawaiian poke bowl that I would recommend to anyone. A perfect blend of crunchy spicy and succulent. My choice is to have it over greens, but I think it would be just as good over brown rice. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient with new customers, and so helpful. “Positive vibes and a great experience. I’ve visited this place several times in person, and I’ve also done takeout a couple of times. The most recent time was takeout. I needed to feed a small group and asked about platter offerings, but was told they don’t have any set menus. They asked what I was looking for and made some recommendations to fit my needs and requested budget.

To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. They delivered and then some. It was a combination of various sushi, regular rolls, and specialty rolls.

They also asked about any potential allergies in the group, along with any specific preferences or dislikes.

The food was fantastic in taste and presentation. It was well packed and came with plenty of ginger, wasabi, and miso soup. They also gave me delicious tea while I waited for them to complete my order.

I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.“

“New City Sushi is a small tradition style Sushi bar/restaurant with an inviting atmosphere and service. A family run establishment with a single sushi chef that shows dedication in the meals he creates. Passing through the area I stopped in and requested an Omakase at the bar and was given a wonderful experience! The multi course Omakase featured some unique dishes such as Chuka Idako, fried Shishamo, Madai, Hotategai, Chutoro, Maine Uni and Chawanmushi. Overall this was a pleasant experience with a good atmosphere and tradition dishes you may not find at your typical sushi restaurant 6.7/10.“

“I had a wonderful date night yesterday at Osaka. I randomly had a taste for hibachi so I searched and came across this location in Tarrytown. Although it was a 30 min drive from home we decided to try our luck. When we arrived, to surprise it was jammed packed however they say us down and we had drinks while we waited. The hostess was very attentive during our wait and even provided edamame on the house because the wait was quite extensive due to 3 birthday celebration which were lagging at each table. Once we were seated the food was made fairly quick and my partner and I enjoyed our meals. The noodles were a bit salty but overall my I really enjoyed my meal and my partner even told me my pick was a great choice! I will be back soon!“

“Sushi & Kimchi has become my new favorite comfy, cozy, and cute hideaway in Rockland for when I want the best tasting and authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. Gina (owner) and Julie (waitress) are both absolutely lovely! Both Gina and the restaurant remind me of what I recall to have been the first Korean/Japanese sushi house in Bardonia, NY that I grew up up dining at in the early 2000’s and up until I moved out of state in 2008. Unfortunately, that location is no longer in business, but Sushi & Kimchi definitely gives all the nostalgic feels! The foos is always fresh and absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always on point, and you’re welcomed each time with a warm welcome from everyone! It’s a little hidden gem in a parking lot off of Route 59 in Nyack that winds down in the late afternoon and is calm in the evening. The perfect place to go for an overall relaxing experience that will have you leaving full after having enjoyed every last bite! I’ve also ordered through DoorDash and the presentation, temperature, taste and overall quality were all solid as well. Thoroughly impressed!

“Was looking for a place to grab dinner and found this place online so decided to give it a try, and this place did not disappoint. Located in an area that makes it easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, Enbu was a nice surprise to stumble upon. The first thing I noticed were the bright colors and very nice water feature, which were nice touches to the decor of the restaurant. We split a pineapple cocktail that we enjoyed, it was sweet but just strong enough to do the trick. For an appetizer, we split what I found to be my favorite food there, the pork gyoza. They were absolutely delicious, and might be my favorite gyoza/dumpling I’ve ever had. The ginger they used for my salad was a tad bit strong for my liking, but I still also enjoyed it. For our entrees, we had the hibachi steak and mixed vegetables and the salmon teriyaki and broccoli, both of which were served with rice. We would both say they were good, but arguably nothing you wouldn’t find from another Asian restaurant. In the end, for the price of everything I’d say it was still very worth the visit and would recommend to someone else looking for similar food in the area. Perhaps we’ll be back to try out some stuff off the sushi menu in the future“

If you like tuna or spicy tuna, firefighter + dynamite rolls are my favorite; Mexican + valentines rolls are also excellent. Take out only!“

“The food was delicious, loved the miso soup and the shrimp tempura especially. The salad was also really good, it had some ginger paste and normally, i’m not a fan of ginger but this was so good!

The service was amazing. The staff were super attentive and friendly. We came for my sister’s birthday and they sang so well.

“The best AYCE sushi spot in Bergen County by far. I always have a very favorable opinion of the AYCE joints that include sashimi on the menu as they are quite rare. Asahi is a rare gem. Fish quality is pretty much standard to its competition and it's AYCE so I won't dive into that too much. The rolls were decent, nothing to write home about but complemented the sashimi well. I visited on Friday night and there was about a 15 minute wait. The fact that it's BYOB I think certainly helps with its popularity but the atmosphere was pretty lively, Asahi appears to be the hot spot in Norwood. Will visit again!“
