“We love Kobe! We have been coming here for years and the sushi is my favorite in the area!! The newer addition is great with a beautiful new bar. We love the sashimi rolls, especially the Yankee Sandwich roll. Their specialty rolls never disappoint and whenever they have special rolls, we always try them too! Give Kobe a try! “Absolutely incredible experience at Mizu Hibachi in New City! From the moment we sat down, everything was top tier. Waiter Han and Chef Lou worked so seamlessly together—it honestly elevated the entire evening. Han was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, while Chef Lou brought amazing energy, skill, and flavor to the table.
The food was outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the best hibachi I’ve ever had. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. And I have to mention the Asian pear martini… it was next level and a must-try!
Between the exceptional customer service, the fun and comfortable atmosphere, and the high-quality food and drinks, this place truly stands out. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!“

“Excellent all you can eat sushi! Everything was fresh, delicious, and the portions were very generous. The restaurant is extremely clean, the service was great, and the food came out fresh and well prepared.
What really stood out was the owner. She is such a sweet, caring, and polite person who genuinely makes you feel welcome and appreciated. You can tell she really cares about her customers and the quality of the restaurant. She’s off to a great start!

“Chicken teriyaki dinner box and steak teriyaki entree were excellent. Water was always full. Very fast service. Polite server. Was able to eat in peace, not bothered every 10 seconds asking how the food is (which is a good thing). Highly recommend!“

The woman who owns it is so sweet and lovely! I love getting her recommendations and she makes all of the banchan and sauces herself!
I've gone several times and have ordered Bibimbap, Soon Tofu soup, sushi, seafood pancake, and chicken fried rice with kimchi. Everything is always so fresh and delicious!
The service is on the slower side (usually take around 45mins+) since they are a small team, but the food is completely worth it, and I personally don't mind the wait.“

“If I still lived in the area, I would be dining here at least once a week. But alas, I do not! Once a month, I come in for lunch, and I am never disappointed. The lunch menu is my favorite, with dishes offered only at lunch. Get the Kamo Nanban or the 2 for $20 special! Dinner is also wonderful! Hands down best sushi!“

“Min Sushi is my favorite Sushi place I've ever been, and definitely my go-to anytime my friends and I are looking for a good, cozy place to go out to eat! The staff are always extremely hospitable. “We had dinner at Matsu on Friday......its a little gem in Hillsdale. We were pleasantly surprised, by the quality and quantity of the food. The Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They very friendly and warm. It was a most enjoyable dinner. We have ordered food to takeout but hadn't been inside the restaurant since the pandemic.... We will definitely go again soon. It was a great experience and we both recommend you give it a try!“

“Went for the AYCE sushi that had a standard selection for $35. After tax and automatic tip, it was about $45 for one person. Good fish to rice ratio. I'd say a standard sushi experience without issues. I'd prefer if they didn’t drizzle chocolate syrup over the green tea ice cream though because it messes up the tea flavor.“

“New City Sushi is a small tradition style Sushi bar/restaurant with an inviting atmosphere and service. A family run establishment with a single sushi chef that shows dedication in the meals he creates. Passing through the area I stopped in and requested an Omakase at the bar and was given a wonderful experience! The multi course Omakase featured some unique dishes such as Chuka Idako, fried Shishamo, Madai, Hotategai, Chutoro, Maine Uni and Chawanmushi. Overall this was a pleasant experience with a good atmosphere and tradition dishes you may not find at your typical sushi restaurant 6.7/10.“
