“Shared chicken teriyaki with extra meat with noodles and veggies- $17. Did the job. Chicken was tender & tasty. Not much taste on noodles and veggies (cabbage/broccoli) but they were not over cooked. 👍 I definitely prefered that it was not overly salted rather than overkill on the salt. Very fast service.“

“Absolutely incredible experience at Mizu Hibachi in New City! From the moment we sat down, everything was top tier. Waiter Han and Chef Lou worked so seamlessly together—it honestly elevated the entire evening. Han was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, while Chef Lou brought amazing energy, skill, and flavor to the table.
The food was outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the best hibachi I’ve ever had. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. And I have to mention the Asian pear martini… it was next level and a must-try!
Between the exceptional customer service, the fun and comfortable atmosphere, and the high-quality food and drinks, this place truly stands out. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!“

“Sushi & Kimchi has become my new favorite comfy, cozy, and cute hideaway in Rockland for when I want the best tasting and authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. Gina (owner) and Julie (waitress) are both absolutely lovely! Both Gina and the restaurant remind me of what I recall to have been the first Korean/Japanese sushi house in Bardonia, NY that I grew up up dining at in the early 2000’s and up until I moved out of state in 2008. Unfortunately, that location is no longer in business, but Sushi & Kimchi definitely gives all the nostalgic feels! The foos is always fresh and absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always on point, and you’re welcomed each time with a warm welcome from everyone! It’s a little hidden gem in a parking lot off of Route 59 in Nyack that winds down in the late afternoon and is calm in the evening. The perfect place to go for an overall relaxing experience that will have you leaving full after having enjoyed every last bite! I’ve also ordered through DoorDash and the presentation, temperature, taste and overall quality were all solid as well. Thoroughly impressed!

“my sister in law brought us to Gen Sushi and Hibachi. The food was amazing from the edamame appetizer to the miso soup to the fresh sushi and the teriyaki chicken. The four of us were all duly impressed with the food and the service!! Dinner started with warm hand towels provided by our kind and efficient server. Our food was not only served in a timely manner but the presentation was extremely impressive.
As we were finishing we noticed the chef preparing a sushi feast. The boat of sushi designed for a group of regular customers was incredible. One woman told us she drove 45 minutes just to have the fresh sushi. That is a high compliment!!
If you aren’t a fan of sushi the menu offers many other options. We will definitely visit again when we are in town.“

“We had dinner at Matsu on Friday......its a little gem in Hillsdale. We were pleasantly surprised, by the quality and quantity of the food. The Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They very friendly and warm. It was a most enjoyable dinner. We have ordered food to takeout but hadn't been inside the restaurant since the pandemic.... We will definitely go again soon. It was a great experience and we both recommend you give it a try!“

The food quality for the price is just unbeatable and they always add a personalized cherry on top of each order. “This is one of our go-to ramen spots in Westchester! I love the tonkatsu and asagao ramen. It’s really fresh and delicious with the perfect amount of spice. The sushi is great as well, we usually get a couple rolls, ramen and of course the spicy edamame. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it! Excellent little hidden gem.“

“Great family experience! The Chef/Samurai did a great hob chopping and simmering our noodles/rice/steak/chicken/scallops and shrimp.

“Positive vibes and a great experience. I’ve visited this place several times in person, and I’ve also done takeout a couple of times. The most recent time was takeout. I needed to feed a small group and asked about platter offerings, but was told they don’t have any set menus. They asked what I was looking for and made some recommendations to fit my needs and requested budget.

To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. They delivered and then some. It was a combination of various sushi, regular rolls, and specialty rolls.

They also asked about any potential allergies in the group, along with any specific preferences or dislikes.

The food was fantastic in taste and presentation. It was well packed and came with plenty of ginger, wasabi, and miso soup. They also gave me delicious tea while I waited for them to complete my order.

I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.“

“I've been going here for years & the food is great & fairly priced. They have a great maki lunch meal with soup/salad & 3 rollls for a decent price. Their bento box is great! You gey to choose 2 meats plus a roll, shumai, rice & tempura veggies and soup & salad. Very good. Even better they a stamp card & you get stamps for every $25 you spend. Once card had has 10 stamps you get a $25 gift card to apply to your next visit. Honestly, lovely staff & calm environment. So glad its a neighborhood staple.“

“We’ve been here many times, and the service is always excellent. It’s a great spot to visit, especially if someone in the group isn’t a fan of seafood. Although it’s a seafood restaurant, they offer a variety of delicious Korean dishes. Our favorites are 김치찌개, 돈까스, and 한치회무침—which almost tastes like 물회, just without the soup. All the rolls are fantastic as well. Highly recommend!“

“I had a wonderful date night yesterday at Osaka. I randomly had a taste for hibachi so I searched and came across this location in Tarrytown. Although it was a 30 min drive from home we decided to try our luck. When we arrived, to surprise it was jammed packed however they say us down and we had drinks while we waited. The hostess was very attentive during our wait and even provided edamame on the house because the wait was quite extensive due to 3 birthday celebration which were lagging at each table. Once we were seated the food was made fairly quick and my partner and I enjoyed our meals. The noodles were a bit salty but overall my I really enjoyed my meal and my partner even told me my pick was a great choice! I will be back soon!“

“Updating my review because I have since eaten at Masa several times for lunch and dinner, including the omakase course! My original review is included below. Masa is some of the best sushi you can get in the area, and at a reasonable price. The omakase course is sooo good, and at $90 it's much cheaper than other omakase options in the area and in NYC. It is definitely worth the price, and make sure you come hungry! The omakase course is perfect for a nice date night or to celebrate something, especially since you can bring your own champagne or other alcoholic beverages since the restaurant is BYOB. I can't recommend Masa enough if you're in the mood for sushi!
