“Been here a bunch of times. Today I ordered ahead the mother's day catering special. They accommodated my gluten free and dairy free needs. I got half tray of penne pomodoro, half tray of grilled chicken with peppers, onions and potatoes, a large house salad, broccoli rabe with sausage and a bag of dinner rolls. In total, it came to just over $88. Food was great, not heavy at all, fresh ingredients. There was a rude, obnoxious woman complaining about waiting for 30 minutes, causing a scene. But to be fair, I waited almost 40 minutes, and there were 7 other people waiting too. They were slammed being a holiday with several catering orders.

After sampling various local options (including some high end restaurants), we keep returning to Hoboken’s Pizza, whether it's for a casual weeknight dinner or a special catering event. Their cavatelli and broccoli and eggplant rollatini are perfect for catering, while the vegetable Stromboli is a personal favorite for weeknight meals. Wow. An actual human being that's bubbly, connective & intelligent. You just don't find it that much these days. Was an absolute pleasure ordering. Knows her menu. Asks all the right questions (sauce on side, what variety would you like, etc).
The people that work there are always nice & authentic there. Plus their food is good.

“I stopped into Danny's Pizza early in the day, shortly after they opened. I saw a sign outside that said they were voted #1 best pizza which I'm usually skeptical about. After having a slice though, I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza had a thin, crispy base with an incredibly flavorful sauce. The sauce to cheese ratio was spot on and the cheese was perfectly fresh and melted to perfection. Even the crust was bready and delicious. I'm definitely a fan.“

I am so surprised that I haven’t been to Mandara’s before considering that I have been frequenting the Essex County area for the past four years. Decided to go for dinner tonight and we can’t wait to come back!

Highlights:
You HAVE to try the pizza, one of the best margherita pizza’s in this area and the chicken marsala was phenomenal! The portions are generous!!

The service was amazing, our waiter came by to check in on us at appropriate times, they brought over extra napkins without us even having to ask, and were attentive to our requests.

Overall, ambiance was amazing, great food with huge portions, and amazing staff!“

“We have ordered from Frank's numerous times with no issues. Tonight, driver arrived with 2 items missing and instead of leaving the items he had, took them with him....cold when he returned. Must have thought he was an Indy car driver on the way back because all the sauce for the mussels was gone, box was saturated. When questioned, he checked and said Ooops, sorry, and left. Called and spoke with the Manager who seemed less than Customer Service concerned although did offer another order of mussels. Unfortunately, with the fear of sabotage on the replacement due to complaining, we declined. Should have offered some kind of refund. As a Client Svc Mgr this is an unacceptable response to a dissatisfied client. We will not be ordering from Frank's again. I guess they have enough clients to not care about EVERY client. Shame!“

“I recently hosted my daughter first communion at Carelli’s and was beyond impressed. Gio was beyond helpful and accommodating and service staff was attentive and on top of it all!! We had calamari to start, which was out of this world with an amazing red sauce loaded with fresh basil. The focaccia bread was warm and delicious. The entrees were also outstanding and portions enough for 2! I highly recommend this place! They gained a customer in me and everyone that attended the party! Big thanks to Gio for letting my party vision come to life!!!“

“Another new place tonight. Got delivery from grub hub. Got a Spinach & Cheese Roll which was filled with spinach and cheese made fresh. Some pepperoni chips which was pretty interesting. Beef, Chicken & Bacon Empanada which to me was a plain chicken empanada but was still good. Got a Vegetable Stromboli as well. Was packed with vegetables. Stromboli was a bit soggy but still was pretty good. Would definitely go again.“

“We had a wonderful date night here! The bartender was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and truly made our evening enjoyable. The food was fresh and phenomenal; we loved the burrata pizza, wings, and an amazing selection of wine. We’d absolutely love to come back.

That said, our arrival was a bit off-putting. Despite available seats in the dining area, we were told we couldn’t be seated there since we were a party of two, without any clear explanation. After that, the rest of the staff didn’t seem particularly attentive. Thankfully, the bartender more than made up for it with outstanding service.“

We had 2 slices each (which is a lot for him), a Yoohoo for him and a Nicky G's Vanilla soda for me. It was definitely worth the cost, which wasn't expensive at all.“
