“I came across Palo de Azucar while I was in Trenton on business. I was looking for a spot where they sold not only quality coffee, but tasty brunch as well. If you're interested or already enjoy Spanish food, this is the place! The quality of coffee did not disappoint, but what stood out most of all was the food. I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte with Oat Milk and a California burger, simply delicious (ask for it cooked at a lower temperature if you like medium!) My mother ordered from the International Treats, and this is by far what took the spotlight for us. We had the Beef Colombian Empanadas and were beyond impressed, from the freshness of the food all the way to each and every flavor of the well-seasoned beef. The empanadas are crunchy/crispy on the outside, and every ingredient on the inside is hot flavorful. The Alcapurrias were a show stopper as well, the outside being fried Yucca and the inside beef. The service was quick, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the prices were comfortable and fair. May God bless and prosper this small business here in Trenton, and may our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ continue to guide them with the splendor of His light through it all!“

“Went out for a family dinner and sadly the food was beyond cold. The waitress we had, we only saw one time and that was when she took our order. She never came back to ask us for refills or to even check if things were okay. We asked to speak to a manager and he was as I expected very polite and helpful. We explained to him that our food was cold and brought fresh orders for us again. After we received our hot meals, I was in love with these grilled shrimps! There were delicious! I found out that Hiro opened from a Clippers magazine and I literally couldn’t be more excited that it opened 2 minutes away from my apartment. Super clean, great music, nice decorations! “Came in for dinner and ordered the Forbidden Salmon — Nordic sustainable salmon over organic forbidden rice with a massaged kale quinoa salad, roasted carrot and beet, spicy cashew crunch, and miso maple sauce. Fantastic dish. Everything tasted fresh and well put together.

The chocolate chip cookie was excellent — do not skip it. Kombucha selection was solid, service was attentive, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality you're getting. Would definitely come back.“

They were going back to Virginia on Sunday morning early. When I got the pizza to my mom’s house in Yardville, they were more than half baked. Try fully baked !!!? Not a very happy customer.“

A little hesitant at first because I was afraid it was going to be Shake Shack expensive since they are right across the street, but was pleasantly surprised to find the prices way more reasonable. Thank McDonald's value meal prices, but much better burgers. Kids had tenders which they loved with the thin shoe string fries. Wife and I had the California style double combo and was a great burger. Definitely worth the cost. Wife also had the tots which she said were even better than Sonic tots and I had to agree. Kids also had the Oreo double trouble custard/shake and said it was delicious. Definitely be back for more.“
