“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. What started as a DoorDash find turned into 20 minutes journey in support of my craving for food that felt like a warm hug after a rough day.

This place is a 10/10 all around and such a hidden gem.

We got the light soup and the peanut soup with fufu, plus the jollof and the kelewele, and every bit of it was a *chefs kiss*.

Michael is one of the kindest people. I had my toddler with me and he offered to bring our food out to the car since it would be a 15 minute wait and I really appreciated his thoughtfulness.

We’ve been visiting Dosa Grill for years, and their food always satisfies our craving for comforting South Indian soul food. But today, it was their kindness that left the biggest impression.

The staff surprised an elderly couple, longtime customers celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary, with a cake and balloons. The couple, who were dining by themselves, were overwhelmed and kept saying that no one had ever acknowledged and surprised them quite like this in their entire lives.

It was so heartwarming to witness such a thoughtful gesture. Moments like these remind us that behind a restaurant are people with truly good hearts. One more reason to keep coming back to Dosa Grill!“

“The food is spectacular. Now ,I've read some of the comments and yes, the service is a bit slow - but you are not at a fast food restaurant! If you want fast, go to McDonalds. If you want great authentic food - this is your place. The portion sizes are large enough that I usually bring some of my meal home to enjoy the next day and I'm a big eater.“

“We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! Food is priced well for the quality and we usually get a mix of Sushi, Japanese appetizers and Thai dishes for the adults and American Chinese food for the kids as they have plain lo mein, fried rices and combinations which are better suited for a younger palate.“

“Yesterday, my wife and I went looking for a vegetarian or Health based restaurant, and found health is wealth.

Immediately, when I walked in, I could tell it was owned by a Caribbean or West Indian person. The atmosphere reminded me of the islands.

We walked in and began a conversation with a customer at the counter and asked her about what were some of her favorite dishes and whether she was a regular patron. She said she had been buying food from Health Is Wealth Restaurant for many years, and she began to list all the food that she liked. It was too many to number.

A few minutes after I was introduced to the owner, Anthony, and his two sons, who were running the place; I have to say that my wife and I have eaten in more than 200 places in the past two years - Not all
Health based.

This was the best, most tasteful vegetarian/healthy food that I've ever tasted.

Though we are not vegetarians or vegans and we try to eat as healthy as we can, I also said to Anthony that this was better than many restaurant foods that we've had.

I tried what they would call the BBQ and the jerk chicken. We also tried:

- the Rasta pasta
- the cabbage
- the rice and peas
- the bean burger
- the sweet potato fries
- the plantain
- a few other things

I have to say this is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I said to Anthony that you have a new customer, and you will see us again.

Also loved the pineapple, lime and kiwi smoothie with veg protein. The best!

note: our bill was a nit higher than normal because we also bought a special detox and parasite cleansing drink/flush.“
