Galaxy Diner

I guess this shall be another memoriam for a great Jersey diner that fell to the wayside, list their focus on the food and eventually closed their doors. The Galaxy Diner was a part of my life and will always be a part of my memories. Honestly, it was never the greatest diner, but it was good and I spent many a night there with friends, enjoying a meal after a night at the bars and/or the nightclubs. The waitress was the best. We had a little 3 years old and she came with a coloring book and crayons. She even spoke to the little and made her feel special. The food was good and there was a larger amount of it. We we're served with a smile and and had a great time. We we're not rushed out and enjoyed our meals and each other's company. I would go back anytime.

I have lived in the area for over 30 years and this was my first time here. I had a very tasty and large Cobb Salad. My friend had something off the luncheon menu (chicken sandwich or plate) that came with their salad bar. He enjoyed his meal too. It wasn't that busy when we were there so our sever was spending a lot of time on us. Maybe too much at times but whatever. She meant well.
