It is probably the Best Greek restaurant in the whole Bergen County. I was impressed with the layout, the waiters were very helpful, and gave us the best advice, even for the pickiest of us. After the Greek salad, crisp zucchini, and grilled calamari, the Pastitsio, Moussaka, and seafood Giouvetsi all cooked in clay pots filled us up, but then the lamb chops with lemon potatoes arrived, and nobody could resist them. Greek City is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is phenomenal and always reminds me of home and my yiayia's cooking. There's a lot of fancy places that do greek food, but there's a homemade/rustic quality here that I haven't found at any restaurant other than Greek City.
The olive oil they give to every table is some of my favorite in the world and is worth the trip to the restaurant alone, but a visit wouldn't be complete without their keftedes and tzatziki. Highly...read full review
