New Mexican Restaurants near Red Bank, NJ

“Juanito's is one of my favorite restaurants when getting Mexican food. Always a good meal. Unfortunately, they add an additional 4% to your bill when paying by credit card. It hurts me to start trying other Mexican restaurants in the area, as there are several, but I will start doing this as I view this fee as an additional tax. I'm taxed enough. Several restaurants in the area started to sneak in these fees. If everyone committed to avoiding these restaurants, you would see the fees go away.“

“We got Shrimp and Chicken Tacos, Burrrrrrrrrrritos! Nachos and Salsa as well. Loved it all! Cuban here and there ain't enough good food around here that ain't burgers and pizza. Chips are thick and salsa chunky! Not saying it's a bad thing. Will order again TY!“

“A place where you can find loaded Doritos like in Chilim Balam in Mex , but here they have another version with delicious esquites, mayo, white cheese and could be with Tostitos too , staff friendly a plus . Hard to find parking in the street but around the corner is the big parking lot“

“Edit: Raising this from 1 to 4 star after speaking with the owner. It seems this was an outlier situation and they were very kind and receptive.

We came in at 8:20 PM (place closes at 9). The woman behind the counter seemed very detached and exhausted so I tried to be sympathetic. My burrito was a magnificent slop, not rolled properly at all. The soda fountain was out of CO2, so all the soda was flat - I made a comment but the employee didn't care even though she had charged me for the drink. The food wasn't bad but nothing remarkable or exciting.“
