U just have to try this place…. I cannot lie…. I’ve been a “pork lo mein no vegetables, extra duck sauce” orderer here since prob around 1989 or 1990…. Some meals just “hit”…. Hands down my fave fave fave Chinese takeout spot here in Ridgewood NJ…. Just wait around and read all the “love stories” that sherry et al., have collected…. STUFF OF LEGEND…....

If you are looking for a fancy dining experience, this is not the place, but if you want exceptional Chinese food, you've hit the jackpot. Think of Chinatown, not Ridgewood. Prepared from scratch, not quick, but with a touch of love. This tiny establishment has the standard fare and some twists on the originals that will make your taste buds dance. I heard Mamas dumplings were amazing and they did not disappoint. We asked for the peanut sauce and I’m pretty sure I dreamed about how delicious they were. Also had pork fried rice that was awesome. Glad we found it, definitely my new top Chinese food spot!
