I wanted my husband who’s from Baltimore to try zeppole, he’s never heard of it and for me, growing up in Bk and Staten Island it was one of my childhood favs. They didn’t have any made when I asked about it which was fine but while I was in conversation with their delivery driver the owner came out with some. He actually went out of his way to make me some zeppole, and it was delicious and extremely nostalgic for me. He has no idea how that made my day and brought back so many memories to me. Their food is delicious, atmosphere warm and friendly. I recommend this place and we will be back.“

“Ordered for pick-up for lunch on a Friday, and was quoted a 20-30 minute wait time. No online ordering, and cash only. We ordered a supreme Sicilian pie, which had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, olives, and anchovies. They'll ask if you want anchovies included, which is nice since it's not for everyone. I happen to like anchovies so I appreciated that this was included because not many places do. I liked the crust - it had the perfect amount of crispiness and bite to it. Pies are on the pricier side - this one was $30, but they don't skimp on the toppings. Would definitely order again next time I'm in the mood for a Sicilian slice.“

“I recently hosted my daughter first communion at Carelli’s and was beyond impressed. Gio was beyond helpful and accommodating and service staff was attentive and on top of it all!! We had calamari to start, which was out of this world with an amazing red sauce loaded with fresh basil. The focaccia bread was warm and delicious. The entrees were also outstanding and portions enough for 2! I highly recommend this place! They gained a customer in me and everyone that attended the party! “First visit, got the Everything Bagel Calzone, they said it fed two, but it was just me. I ate half of it , and went up for a box, the guy said "wow you ate half's, I said "yeah you said it was good for two". Anyway, it could use less to no salt, as it was it was too salty for me. It was a good calzone nonetheless. It actually would have fed four to six, as garlic knots were attached to the calzone.

Second visit , ordered 25" XL pie to feed our party of four well enough needing a take out box. It's a monster size . Each slice is bigger than your head, take a look at the picture. Very good pizza.

Definitely more items on the menu to try next time.“
