I’ve been to several of Tommy’s Tavern locations. The food has always been exceptional along with the staff customer service.
I’ve been to the Cherry Hill location twice now. The first visit was met with good food and customer service! My 10-25-25 visit I decided to sit at the bar, and the customer service in this area was sub par at best. My girlfriend and I ordered some drinks off of the cocktail menu and both didn’t tasted like they were light on the alcohol side. Mine specifically was the Mango Mojito. We did discuss this with the bartender however she said that she couldn’t add any more alcohol. She stated that she could only take our drinks and make us two no one’s. We opted to get draft beers from the tap.
We ordered the cauliflower appetizer which was good however the bartender had it sent out the same time as our entrees. Also I’ve really enjoyed their turkey burgers until this visit. The turkey burger that I was given looked like it was two frozen patties with the usual trimmings however it now comes with guacamole on it apparently. I was told by the Manager that they changed the menu on this item. The old turkey burger looks like it was freshly made with spices and other very good ingredients in it that I really enjoyed. And it didn’t come with guacamole.. That version apparently has been eliminated in place of the two frozen patties that I was given. I’d didn’t eat it as a result. Guacamole on a turkey burger to me doesn’t make sense. So I was very disappointed with my experience.. I’m just gonna take this experience as a one off because I do enjoy going to Tommy’s. I’ve never had a problem before. Hopefully the next time I go, I will have a much better experience at this location. If I do decide to order another turkey burger, I will definitely check the menu to see how it is made and what comes with it. Hopefully they can go back to the old version cause I really like that version.

It didn’t disappoint. She seemed happy when I asked for the check and it came time for the gratuity. :) Grabbed the manager on the walk out and let him know how good the service was. “The food was ok. In the hour to hour and a half we were there we only saw the waitress three times. The place was almost empty. She waited on two or three other tables while we were there and never stopped by the table once to ask if there was anything else we wanted to order or needed. I wanted my water glass refilled but that never happened. I usually tip 20 to 25 % but she only got 10. The music was a little loud but the poorest selection of songs I have ever heard in a restaurant.“

“After the Common show Friday March 15th, we decided to grab a bite at Chickie & Pete's. Unfortunately after that our #GirlsTrip went into a spiral. SOMEHOW a little over an hour after the server "MAGGIE" took possession of her Visa debit card, said card was used to make 2 online casino gambling transactions. The next day when the fraudulent transactions were discovered the 1st for $200, the 2nd for $100, she contacted her bank & they canceled her card. A major inconvenience especially when you use your card for automatic bill paying. I immediately contacted the Parx casino call center for information & I also placed a call to Chickie & Pete's. The casino told us to come in & file a report with security. I received a call back almost immediately from C&P's Asst. Gen Manager "Sue" & was told she'd look into it. When we arrived back to the casino, security refered her to the Bensalem, Pa PD & she made a criminal report with them. AGM Sue, a very dismissive & unapologetic woman, said she reviewed the camera footage and found no wrongdoing on her employee's part...case closed!! When I asked her if the card had ever left Maggie's hands, she snapped "I will NOT be interrogated by YOU"!! but did eventually confirm that NO ONE other than Maggie had had possession of the card. She then asked if my friend was sure she didn't make the transactions herself or give her card to someone or perhaps lose it? The problem with these half hearted attempts at dismissing us was #1....her card went immediately back into her wallet after Maggie returned it to her so no it was not lost, stolen or given to anyone. And #2... unlike myself, my friend is not a gambler & even if she were, why in the world would she be in an actual casino (which is where we remained after eating) when the theft was committed & use an online casino/gambling app? So NO, none of those scenarios makes much sense but I guess she had to come up with ANYTHING that might dispel responsibility away from herself, Maggie & C&Ps. OR perhaps Sue is just purposely naïve of how easy it is to obtain the CC#, CVV code & EXP date from a patrons card using perhaps a cell phone's camera to capture such info for later use. The fact that someone is careful enough to not get caught on camera committing the act, is just a testament to how good they've become at doing it. So if you decide to patronize this establishment, THINK TWICE before using your credit card and especially think twice before using your debit card!!“

After an unfortunate experience somewhere else we called Dooney’s to see if they could accommodate a party of 17 last minute, and they said of course. Half of our party was kids 7 and under. “Sending out a big thank you to Wilson’s pub. It was my sisters 60th birthday party we were supposed to celebrate at another bar who promised to reserve tables to accommodate her family and friends 30 of us . When we arrived, they told us that they could not reserve all of the tables that they said earlier they would.. no apology no nothing. Needless to say we left that bar flooded Wilson’s with approximately 25 people. They gave us the whole side room. Drinks were great. We ordered food and I believe the cook brought it right out to us his self.. great bartenders great food ….they could not have been nicer or more accommodating would definitely recommend Wilson’s to anyone“

Shout outs to Prima, the party planner and Frank, the server. My guests were very impressed with the atmosphere, menu selection options, and attentive service!! I highly recommend holding any celebratory event here.“

“A few weeks ago I dropped into Hazy’s Bar and Grill for a quick bite to eat and a beer. I decided to try the chicken cheesesteak and it was fantastic! The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy, and the blend of cheeses melted beautifully over the meat. The roll was fresh, seeded, and had the perfect amount of crunch on the outside while remaining soft inside. The flavors were well-balanced, with just the right amount of seasoning. When I asked I found out the Buffalo sauce that Chef Ron was using was homemade! Overall, it was a delicious and at $11 for this to come with fries too? It's a TERRIFIC value for such a satisfying meal. I would highly recommend Hazy's to anyone looking for a great chicken cheesesteak. “I threw my daughter’s birthday party in the back room and everything was perfect. They had the tables set up nicely with white table cloths, a buffet table for the food and plenty of room for my kiddos to enjoy a silent disco, my treat table and gift table. Tyler was our bartender and did an awesome job filling up kids drinks which was more work on her end (I brought reusable lidded cups) and made sure no guest was without a drink. Joey served the food from the buffet and kept on top of cleaning up plates from my guests which was a really nice touch. He cut the cake for me and also packed up remaining food in boxes so my guests could take some home with them. Everything was flawless and I couldn’t have asked for anything else! My guests and I were very impressed! 10/10 recommend!“

“Bar was packed on a Saturday night. They had a band that started late, which went into the DJ time. There was a certain crowd for the band, and then it switched to the crowd for the DJ. DJ played hip-hop. The food was ok. Service was extremely slow, but they were short-handed. Staff seemed pretty nice except being overwhelmed. I'm not sure if it's like that all the time as it was the Saturday before Halloween and was touted to be a Halloween Party.“
