“Silver lake CheeseSteaks and Tacos makes authentic tacos at a very reasonable price. Their glorious selection of cheesesteak options is pleasing. They also sell fresh cut fruit and deliciously baked goods. I have been going to them since the owner himself was a cook at the Newark Cheesesteak house in Newark. He now owns both locations. I prefer Silver Lake because the original chef/ now owner still cooks. That is a sign of great leadership.“

I love everything about this place, only drawback the inside could have more room for additional tables but the food, Serb ice and atmosphere- oh and prices- are spot on! I had onion rings with my cheesesteak they were good too! No parking lot but there was plenty of on-street parking and the guts that work there are super helpful and pleasant! Don’t go to Prados - Run to Prados!! Highly recommended!“

“We have been going to Italian Village for 20+ years. It has been our go to for pizza and catering. Tonight we had shrimp Francese with spaghetti and Shrimp Milanese with penne. Thanks for the Recommendation Dominick) Both were delicious. The shrimp is cooked to perfection. Both entrees came with a side salad and Bread. We were treated to complementary cheesecake and tiramisu. Both made fresh daily and both delicious. The cheesecake had a creme brulee topping. We always enjoy our meals there and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.“

“I'm one of the few lucky ones, they're right up the street about block away from my house. Been going there for years. Great customer service. Food is fantastic. My favorite is the Steak n Take. Today I had The Fish with fries. Fried to perfection just the way it's supposed to be. They don't season the fish to death. Very consistent in quality each and every time you order. People drive from all over. I like the old school vibe. It reminds me of the 70s and 80s when we used to go down and get all of these steak n takes and bean pies and fish sandwiches. Oh the good ole days....So come on down and see for yourself.“

I been to a lot of fried chicken shops but none have came close to this one. The food is always great never had an issue, they use good quality ingredients.The service is very good always smiling and professional.If you've never been to palace definitely put it on your bucket list you won't be disappointed. There portions are very good too there not cheap like other stores in Jersey.I've lived in New Jersey all my life this place has the best chicken by far. the flavor of that chicken is so good and not too salty. They were yum and perfectly portioned, though I think they forget the cheddar on the fries. Food was ready quickly, too, which I appreciated.“
