“I recently had the opportunity to visit Number 1 Chinese Express and I can confidently say that it has become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff which made the experience even more enjoyable.The menu variety is impressive, offering a wide range of traditional Chinese dishes. I decided to try the General Tso chicken and lo mein noodles. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and spiciness. The lo mein noodles were full of flavor, with a soft texture and a delicious mix of fresh vegetables.One of the highlights of my visit was the speed of the service. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, my order arrived in no time, hot and freshly made. Additionally, the portions were generous, offering excellent value for money.The restaurant's atmosphere is simple but cozy, ideal for both a quick meal and a quiet dinner. The cleanliness of the place is also worth mentioning, as everything was spotless.“

“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“I came for the tiramisu latte and it did not disappoint. Super creamy- it tasted like a perfect tiramisu dessert! In fact, I believe the whipped topping may have had some mascarpone in it! Lovely!
I also ordered the 3 cheese spinach empanadas and they were very cheesy, yet the dough was, crisp, light, and delicious.
There was no oily residue- perfectly fried.

“I’ve lived in the area for quite some time and I’m disappointed I haven’t tried this place sooner!

For starters, I really liked the chill, laidback vibe. I tried the Vietnamese coffee and the brown sugar banana espresso - both were perfect. Not overly sweet and balanced well with the coffee. The banana espresso is one of the best I’ve had - highly recommend it, especially if you’re a banana fiend like me.

I came for the coffee, but also ended up getting some sandwiches, which were very good. The sandwiches come on a soft English muffin. The BEC sandwich was eggcelent, with a big fluffy egg paired with thick cut bacon, melted in cheese.

Great local spot, will be coming back soon!

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. “Pana House Restaurant is a fantastic spot for Venezuelan food! I had the pabellón, which was delicious with tender shredded beef, black beans, rice, and fried plantains. The Venezuelan sample platter was also great, featuring tasty arepas, empanadas, and tequeños. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out!“

“Cozy health cafe offering high protein waffles, crepes, teas/coffees, shakes, and more. I had the delicious dolce waffle which in addition to the high protein comes with fruit. The iced chai is lovely. My companion had the savory salty waffle and a berry protein shake, both of which he greatly enjoyed. We are happy to have found this gem.

“I visit Sweet Jeans more than once per day when I am working - it really is the BEST cafe I've ever been to. Every single staff member is welcoming, friendly, and treats you like family from your very first visit. The coffee, sandwiches and pastries are literally incredible.

Luis was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our order. Our server Sofia was extraordinary! she was warm and friendly with genuine smile. She offered excellent recommendations and we had conversation as if we're know each other for years. We started with a complimentary bruschetta, it was tasty and nicely flavored. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers. I said I added too much chili oil to my broth (rookie mistake - it’s very spicy!) and he was kind enough to add more broth to my leftovers to lessen the heat. He was accommodating, friendly and kind. “I 1st became aware of this place from a reel that I seen where some guy was complaining about the price. The way the employee handled it by offering to give it to him free of charge and he could come back and pay if he enjoyed it really intrigued me. Made me think these must be spectacular hot dogs and he knows it. So I took the 5 hour 250 mile round trip from my home to see for myself. Well these dogs were just amazing 🤩 perfect snap on the dog and the chili was just spectacular. The two women that were working the counter were simply wonderful and friendly.
