“Treated ourselves to this place we saw on diners driveins and dives after shoveling a whole bunch of snow. The atmosphere is great, packed especially for a winter storm day. There were only three servers and one of them had to bartend as well, but food and drink came super fast. They are doing the best they can!

Got their brunch special with duck (which is absolutely delicious), a veggie burger, French onion soup (urgently needed in this weather), 1 cocktail and 2 desserts. Total came up to $77 before tax and tips. Great deal. Totally worth walking half an hour in 20 inches of snow for.“

“Me and my wife stopped by for the famous wings with house made sauce, It was super packed, only reason for giving a four star for service was because you had to go to the bar to get a menu and ask for service.

But with understanding they were very packed. The wings were very good and I would make a trip back for sure.“

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

Must tries include the fries (these are the BEST fries in Philly), short rib grilled cheese, everything on the brunch menu, and the smoked manhattan. “My wife and l went last night. Great little bar. Great burgers and fries. The collectibles in the shadow boxes took me back to my childhood. Great vibe. Low key. Great beers. Coming back. Oh yeah, they have board games.“

“My son and I stopped in to watch at least the first half of the Eagles game because the snowstorm was coming and didn’t want to stay out too late. He had the chicken tenders and I had the garlic Parmesan buffalo wings. The service was great. the food was outstanding, and there were plenty of TVs to catch the game. Unfortunately, the Eagles were not so good. I definitely recommend this place if you like bar food and burgers. That’s the only thing I’ve had so far. Still waiting to meet Jaws“

“My husband and I have been coming here alot lately. Winter season can be pretty dull and we don't like being stuck at home all the time. So this has been our go to place to get a few drinks. Stella, Yuengling, Guiness they got it. They have others but these are our favorites. Go check them out.

“Rebecca was my waitress. Great service—even though the place was packed and she basically got sat 7 tables at once. Good food, great service. I’ve been to PJ before—just not this location. It didn’t disappoint. She seemed happy when I asked for the check and it came time for the gratuity. :) Grabbed the manager on the walk out and let him know how good the service was. “A great spontaneous stop led to one of the best meals and experiences we’ve had in this city. The waitress was fantastic. They have an extensive happy hour menu that included giant portion size food all of which was excellent. The owner even came over to say hello and gifted our son a souvenir just because.
